Could you share your specific use case? For example:
How would you prefer to group your devices? (e.g., by room, by function, or by device type — such as grouping all lights together, all switches together)
Typically, how many devices would you like to include in one group?
This information will be very helpful for us to design a feature that truly meets your needs.
Thank you for your detailed feedback! We have carefully noted your suggestion for interaction optimization and will evaluate it seriously in our future version planning.
Thank you for providing detailed testing feedback.
We have noted the two issues you mentioned and have arranged for the development team to verify and investigate them. We will contact you as soon as there are any updates.
Thank you for your feedback. Our testing indicates a situation opposite to your description:
If screen saver is enabled , after the screen turns off via a scene, the clock does not reappear on the page (this is a confirmed issue, and we will resolve it as soon as possible).
If screen saver is disabled , the clock also does not appear after the screen turns off (this is normal).
Could you please reconfirm the specific issue or record a video to show the exact scenario you are experiencing? This will help us verify whether your situation matches what we have observed.
Additionally, regarding the “all devices not working” issue:
Are you referring to screen timeout (AutoLock) or sleep mode ?
Does “all devices not working” mean that Zigbee device statuses are not syncing?
Could you provide the device IDs of the Zigbee devices that are malfunctioning?
Regarding the first screensaver issue, I found the problem by chance while filming the video.
On my Home Assistant page, I have the video from my ring doorbell, and it’s this that’s preventing the screen from going to sleep. I had it set to live; switching it to auto fixes the sleep mode. Sorry.
Regarding the second issue, I also found the solution. It wasn’t the locking mechanism that was causing the problem, I’m sorry, I had changed two settings at the same time. It was also in Home Assistant:
In the application settings, I had checked “Allow as home screen app” and then set Home Assistant as the home screen app, which meant that after a restart, nspanel couldn’t find my devices anymore. By setting on nspanel Pro fixed everything.
Thank you for your in-depth analysis and thoughtful suggestions.
Your idea of “allowing users to choose their tap behavior” is highly valuable and aligns with our product team’s direction regarding interaction optimization. Since this would involve significant adjustments to the core interaction logic, we need to carefully evaluate and plan accordingly.
The current interaction scheme — tapping the icon to control, and tapping elsewhere on the card to enter details — is a phased optimization we introduced based on various user feedback, aiming to balance intuitive operation with functional accessibility.
Your suggestion has been formally documented and will serve as an important reference for future interaction improvements. Thank you once again for helping us continuously refine the product experience.
As I wrote, there in the display settings in the advanced is no option screen off - “never”. Originally, nothing was selected, and the longest period was 30 minutes. Unfortunately, I touched that 30 minutes, and now the second panel (4.2.2) also turns off. And it cannot be undone. I see that the only way to fix it is a factory reset and returning to the original software to avoid these new “improvements.” Like they say, “better is the enemy of good.” Ultimately, I will start considering switching the entire panel software to an alternative software.
PS After the factory reset, the panel returned to 4.1.3 and fortunately it’s back to normal.
This one. Regardless of the state of the lights, the icon appears illuminated, tapping it does nothing, and the icon doesn’t change when the lights are toggled via the details page, however the text changes to “ALL ON”. I’ve submitted a log.
I’d like to group lights, in my case “Hue Lamp Left” and “Hue Lamp Right” are set as an entertainment group in the Hue app, and I never turn these lights on or off individually, so a single card to control them both would be ideal. “David’s bedroom left” and “David’s bedroom right” are grouped in the Hue app as a room, I mostly turn both of these on or off together, but occasionally control them individually, if I had to choose between controlling them via the NSPanel as a group or controlling them individually, I’d choose to control them as a group, as I use that most often. At the moment, I’m only using a maximum of two lights in a group. If the Hue bridge exposes its groups or rooms via matter, you could replicate those in the ewelink app/NSPanel, if it doesn’t then the ability to create a group of some synced lights in the ewelink app/NSPanel would also be good. I know that the Hue bridge can at least expose its entertainment groups, as I use those in other software, but I’m unsure how this works.
Regarding some people disliking tapping the icon to toggle the lights, perhaps making the icon larger would help, or remove the toggle icon and have a small cog/settings icon where tapping the card toggles the light and tapping the smaller settings icon opens the details page.
I don’t know how you do it. I’ve tried many times on both panels before. It doesn’t scroll vertically for me. But it doesn’t matter now. On 4.1.3 I don’t have to worry about that. The screen is always ON. I just feel sorry that on this software I won’t have a wallpaper that adapts to the weather. In 4.3.0, I think that’s already included.
What is inconvenient to control in nspp pro? I need the light to turn on immediately after pressing the button. Not after pressing the small icon in the button.
Yes, the paral-sync feature is no longer applicable after version 4.x.x . However, you can use the eWeLink Smart Home add-on to sync devices under your NSPanel Pro to the iHost for control.
Alternatively, do you have any other specific use cases in mind for the OpenAPI ?
I’m experiencing several issues with the NS Panel Pro after upgrading to version 4.3. I’m unable to pair Zigbee devices, either directly from the NSP or via the eWeLink app.
Sometimes pairs, sometimes not. Sometimes the zigbee became offline too. Need to reset the NSP
Additionally, the F-Droid app occasionally crashes.
For me this one was the most unstable version so far.
I apologize for the issue. In version 4.3.2, we have fixed the problem of unstable Zigbee connections. Could you please send me your NSPanel Pro device ID so that I can deploy the new version for your device?
What I am expecting is to control all my ZigBee devices in Ihost from nspanel. Let say ZigBee switches paired to Ihost, I want to control it from NSPanel. Am I missed something, it is possible trough eWelink add on? Or node red maybe? Hub mode? Router mode?
