👨‍💻‍【Release Note】eWeLink CUBE Version History

Looks like you experiencing the same thing.

Docker is empty and there is also problem that Ihost don’t see Micro SD card

What is happening after you will do iHost restart ?

Can you send us your system log via feedback?
So we can pinpoint the problem.

I also experienced this problem that the SD card is invisible until the Ihost starts completely.
the update 2.3 significantly extended the time to start the ihost. I can’t create a backup because an error occurs.

The same problem. And I also can’t make a backup. The log file was sent by @SuiKa

New iHost update 2.3.2

Screenshot 2024-10-24 181701

Could someone be so kind and after update iHost to 2.3.2 which was released hour ago…

Try to do backup of iHost with few scenes and then try to restore it?

I would like to know that backup is working now.

Please kindly check the release log and an explainer:

I am very surprised by the quick fix!
Thanks, now the backup has been created!

Glad it worked for you

I can confirm the first bit. I was not able to create a backup before now I can. Have not dared restore yet as I have another glitch to sort first, then I will backup and restore.

Updated, everything seemed OK. Tried Backup (I already have support ticket 219927 open with Eric on this problem as it didn´t work) but again showed message “Backup failed”.
Then I get this error (see top of image), unable to do anything as everthing is greyed out and all 70 devices bridged to Smartthings offline…

Waited 15-20 minutes, bridged devices came back online, Node-red addon running but no web UI, cpu 99-100%…then after 5 minutes came back online. Have a 232Mb backup, :+1: although all a bit hair -raising!

That is a big backup. Mine is 147MB and I thought I had quite a lot of devices.

The system will “frozen” during the backup procedure and with a prompt on the top to show the processing, it’s not a error, and will be back after the “backup file” is created and stored properly.

BTW, 232M, that’s a big one.

Why could that be? I have 70 devices (around 15 LAN, rest Zigbee, no Matter ), 2 scenes, no Cast, Matter bridged to Smartthings and iPhone.

Nothing unusual, just surprised—this is the largest backup I’ve seen so far.

OK. Only presumably being a large backup it timed out and showed the “Backup Failed” error when it was still in process (15-20 minutes)
EDIT Congratulations to the team in getting this patch running in 24 hours :ok_hand:

Oh, sorry, I missed the “Backup failed” part which haven’t shown in previous screenshot.
It should not be promp out during the backup procedure if it’s still in progress, and your guess is right, it’s may due to a time our between the front-end and the back-end.

We will try to investigate deeper to see what exactly happens.

Updated to V2.3.2.
Now lights work normal.
Back-up work normal(worked before for me)
ZigBee Map is blank, reboot, unplug, same blank. Not so important, was full of UFO(floating devices) anyways

my zigbee map works fine, but I didn’t reboot the iHost.
The backup function now works (but didn’t test the “restore” part).
The docker page is back fine so it seems that the fix fixed things

Yep, it was the fast one, surprised.
TRADFRI bulb GU10 WS 345lm (warm white/cool white) seem to work fine. They even got a firmware update, so the OTA updates do work.

TRADFRI bulb GU10 CWS 345lm are unaffected, but that was expected.
Those weird CPU usage spikes are gone too. Now it idles at 8% 43 deg. C instead of 99% for minutes and cooking the CPU.
