One more thing. What about thet HEATING text/isustration on panel when it is heating. It is necessary for usee to know is it heating or not.
For me as a simple user for example it should be like this: Home t° shows 18.5 °C. I set it to 19.5. It turns on immediately and is showing that it is heating.
Now it is like this: I set it to 19.5 and hope that it will turn on some time in next hour. I think the thermostat is not working at all in NS Panel, if looking only on this example. Not talking even about auto mode.
To monitor the temperature change, you have 2 methods:
The current heating thermostat uses the same logic as eWeLink scenes which means the action (turn on or off actuator) is only executed when a new temperature change occurs (thermometer detects temperature change and notify eWeLink cloud or NSPanel Pro).
So, in this case, the last received 18.7 °C won’t trigger the action, but an update of 18.6 °C, 18.8 °C (whatever it is, just need to be a new update), will trigger the action.
I know this is not optimal, and not easy to understand. We plan to optimize it ASAP.
Yes, we will change it from (±0.5) to (±0.1) in v4.3.0 for existing heating thermostat. But the underlying scene-based logic is the same, we’ll optimize the logic later.
Thank you for explaining scene triggering by temerature CHANGE. It explains some “weird” behaviour I encountered. I understand it now.
Could you add a feature for the TRVZB icon and tile in the Pro panel?
For example, it would be nice to have an icon inside the valve tile that indicates its status (standby
/ heating
).
Since I don’t use thermostat mode—which currently doesn’t work the way I’d like—but instead manage heating through scenes to start/stop the boiler when needed, this would be very useful.
That way, I wouldn’t need to physically check or open the app to see which valve is currently active.
Example (these are two screenshots taken from the internet and manually edited; they do not represent my actual panel).
+1 for this request.
I would also kindly ask to add not only teamperature measured by valve (which is great!), but also set target temperature .(which reflects schedule set on TRVZB itself).

Thank you for your suggestion! This feature will be supported in the upcoming v4.3.0 release.
On the TRVZB device card, the current device status (e.g., “Heating” or “Keeping”), the current temperature, and the set target temperature will be displayed.

Uh i love it. Thx ![]()
Hi, Had been testing thermostat function and found some inconsistencies when using a 4 channel Zigbee Relay card.
When you configure 4 thermostats, one with each of the gangs of a 4ch relay card, the thermostats corresponding to outputs 1 & 2 works as expected, but outputs 3 & 4 turn on / off mirrored with outputs 1 & 2.
If I reproduce the same test with a WiFi 4CH relay card, it works well. Seems the only issue is when using Zigbee 4 channel relay cards.
If I use 4 individual 1CH zigbee relay cards, it works well.
Please let me know if I can assist providing logs o further testing…
Currently, the screen status in the scene still relies on the NSPanelPro app (screen on/off). If you are using a third-party app, it may not work properly. Could you confirm if this is the case for you? If so, we will optimize this feature in the upcoming version 4.3.0 (releasing on January 8). If not, please submit the NSPanelPro logs and send your device ID directly to me. Thank you for your cooperation.
I apologize for the issue you encountered. Regarding channels 3 and 4 being mirrored to channels 1 and 2, do you mean that the thermostat is not actually controlling channels 3 and 4, and they still correspond to channels 1 and 2? Thank you for your understanding. We need you to promptly submit the NSPanelPro logs after the issue occurs. Please also send your device IDs (for both NSPanelPro and the Zigbee four-channel device) directly to me. This will allow me to review the logs and test with a device of the same model simultaneously.
Hi, Milk. No need to apologize we are here to help improve the product. I resell Sonoff devices in my country so I am also interested party this works well.
NS Panel PRO ID is 100243a76b, the 4CH Zigbee relay card ID is a4400369fb
Now, doing further testing I realized NS Panel Pro Thermostat is not updating the relay card status until I try to change it status in other way for example pressing the buttons of the card, that is when it updates the status of all the outputs.
No, I’m using the default UI and the built-in eWeLink app’s Scenes. I have submitted the logs.
Home Assistant with SonoffLAN also lost control and if you manage to fix this for third-party apps also, it’d be great!
Thank you.
This morning [9.10] the temperature droped to very cold 17.7 °C. The schedule was 19.5°C.
I apologize for the issue you encountered. Could you confirm if your thermostat is still failing to operate automatically in the morning? Since the previous logs did not include thermostat-related information, please submit the NSPanelPro logs promptly after the issue occurs, along with logs from the eWeLink app (via Profile > Help & Feedback > Feedback > Submit). If possible, you may also record a video before submitting the logs and share it with me (this will help me correlate the video timestamps with the logs). Thank you for your cooperation.
Hello, I’ve checked your logs and didn’t find any obvious anomalies. Since I’m not yet fully clear about the issue you’re experiencing, could you clarify: does manually controlling Channel 1 of the thermostat allow Channels 3 and 4 to function normally? If possible, could you record a video when the issue occurs to demonstrate the specific problem, and then promptly submit the NSPanelPro logs?
Hi Milk, At first when I reported the anomaly, though some outputs were actioning in “mirror”, now doing further testing I can realize what is actually happening is that the state updates of the NS Panel PRO thermostat actions are not synchronized to the actioning device until you force to sync status by pressing a button of the zigbee smart relay card.
Here is the video showing that behavior, my last log update was performed as part of this video recording.
Regards
I am currently evaluating NSPanel Pro vs NSPanel Pro 120. I updated to 4.2.0 using the NSPanel Pro Beta Testing Program to register my NSPanel Pro (100251d1f0). Since Web Shortcuts and Open API is currently missing from the firmware I want to reset to factory firmware. With cycling power 5 times I think this should be “easy”, but currently I have no way of un-enrolling in the beta program using the above link.
Can you un-enroll this device from the beta program or give me an option to do so myself? Alternatively in times of timeline, when do you think web shortcuts and Open API will be re-added to the 4.x.x firmware as I can’t find any info on that in the official roadmap?
