Hi, my panel still doesn’t have the 4.2.0 update.![]()
I apologize, but version 4.2.2 is currently still in the testing phase. Please join the beta program via the beta testing tool to access the internal testing version. If you have already joined but still cannot receive the version update, please send your device ID directly to me. Thank you for your cooperation.
Hi Milk
Thank you so much for your support.
Version 4.2.2 is installed and running smoothly so far.
However, I wanted to mention that since the version where Home Assistant and Cube were removed, and you have to install HA either via the website or Companion via F-Droid, everything runs a bit slower. Oddly enough, it stutters a bit with both. Not much, but you can definitely notice it. But I guess that’s the compromise if you want to use F-Droid. Otherwise, you’re all doing a fantastic job. Thank you so much for that.
Regards, Paul
Ani mne nefunguje na NSP paneli firmware 4.2.0. Vypisuje mi len 4.1.5.
Hi,
Is there a way to ring the NSPanel from Home Assistant?
What exactly do you have on mind?
I have some automations that could benefit from having a sonor confirmation.
I see. You want your NSPanel Pro to act as a speaker emitting sounds on demand, right?
Yes, I see that in eWeLink there is a ringtone option allowing to upload some file, and since now we have an integration with HA, it could be a “quick win”
No, we don’t, as matter of fact. Tell me more about your aim, so I can give you possible options. It may seem easy, but it’s not.
They have in l mind the ability of ringing the NSPanel through Home Assistant. And that thought stimulates so.many possibilities.
Interesting you responded with a question.
NS Panel doesn’t expose the calling feature in Home Assistant, unfortunately..
Please refer to NSPanel Pro v4.2.0 Officially Released: New Features & Enhancements - #82 by Milk for the answer and solution.
Aha niekto skúšal reset do továrenskeho nastavenia až potom update.
Wow, would be great! Thanks ![]()
Sorry for the issue and thank you for submitting the log. We’ll look into it ASAP.
By the way, the actuator which controls the heat is turned on or off when the temperature is updated from external thermometer (another temperature sensor). So the timing and temperature difference are not always as expected. For example, the Target Temperature is 26.5 °C, Temp. Accuracy is 0.5 °C, and the room temperature is 26.2 °C. Ideally, when the room temperature is dropped from 26.2 °C to 25.9 °C, the actuator should be turned on. But in reality, the thermometer may not report a temperature change at 25.9 °C, or the report is lost when transmitted.
There is a problem with the heating control with NSpanel pro. It works very well with the iHost, zb ultra and pro versions. And it is true that I have tested which thermometer to combine with which scene.
All Sonoff temperature sensors, such as SNZB-02D, SNZB-02P, SNZB-02WD, SNZB-02LD, they report temperature changes of ± 0.2 *C.
This is the lowest value that can be set in the thermometer menu.
Therefore, for the thermostat to activate, the temperature must change by 0.6*C.
If the accuracy of the thermostat function in NSPANEL is changed from (±0.5) to (±0.1), then this problem will not occur.
