NSPanel Pro v4.1.0 Release: New Features & Enhancements

Is it possible to control the thermostat with "scenes"?
It would be nice to be able to manage the thermostat's activation and deactivation by creating a "scene."
For example, with the Thermo plugin, I can turn the heating on and off by conveniently pressing a button on a Switchman R5. The thermostat on the NS panel, however, isn't even visible.

By the way. Any ETA matter sync for SNZB-02P?

Okay, regarding this feature, I will relay it to the team. I would like to confirm the usage scenario with you: Are you looking to quickly switch the thermostat’s mode? For example: quickly switch from “Off” to “Manual,” or quickly switch from “Operating” (Manual Mode, Auto Mode) to “Off”?

Thank you for your feedback. Are you referring to making the SNZB-02P work as a standalone Matter device? Currently, the 02P sensor is integrated into Matter through a bridge, because Zigbee and Matter are two completely different protocols. For now, there are no plans to make the 02P sensor a native Matter device.

No, that’s not exactly what I meant :slightly_smiling_face: I was referring to the NSPanel Pro, where it shows “Not yet supported” when trying to sync the device via Matter. So my question is more about the sync support through the NSPanel Pro bridge, not about making the sensor a native Matter device.

Apologies for the misunderstanding. Could you please try restarting the NSPanel Pro, then re-enter the page to see if you can sync the SNZB-02D? (I encountered a similar situation during testing yesterday, which might be the same bug pending a fix.) If this doesn’t work, please submit a log on NSPanel Pro through Top drop-down menu -> Settings -> About -> Feedback -> Submit

Just to clarify, I use these SNZB-02P, not with D

Apologies for the misunderstanding. I can confirm that the 02P is now supported. If you encounter any issues, you can still follow the steps mentioned above to operate and provide feedback. Thank you!

All wrong absolutely nothing has changed. I don’t see that SNZB-02P and SNZB-02D are visible. I share with iHost via matter to ewelink

Same for me, can’t see them on nspanel pro. Still yet not supported. Or we need to wait for an update?

The screenshot is about Matter Bridge function of ZBBridge-U, not of NSPanel Pro, right?

Screenshot is from nspanel pro, through ewelink app. Dont have zbbridge at all.

I share with iHost via matter to ewelink

Could you please describe your setup in detail? You want to export Zigbee devices from NSPanel Pro to iHost through Matter Bridge? All those Zigbee devices are paired directly to NSPanel Pro? If so, you don’t need to wait for v4.2.0, we’ve done it in v4.1.0.

All devices are paired with iHost. I used matter bridge in iHost to share devices to ewelink account.

I want to do the opposite. What I don’t need is what nspanel pro sees, but I don’t see the thermometers SNZB-02D and SNZB-02P that are urgent for me in the ewelink account either.

So you are exporting Zigbee devices from iHost to NSPanel Pro through the Matter Bridge function of iHost. That’s a completely differrent usage scenario from exporting Zigbee devices from NSPanel Pro to Apple Home, Google Home, etc., through the Matter Bridge function of NSPanel Pro.

NSPanel Pro v4.2.0 has nothing to do with iHost’s Matter Bridge function, so absolutely nothing has changed in your setup is right.

It’s better to create a new topic regarding this feature request. We can then follow and update that specific topic without confusing it with NSPanel Pro’s v4.1.x and v4.2.x features.

Right. I need to heat it because it’s really cold here. nspanel pro is not currently a suitable device for controlling heating.

Thank you for your video demonstration; it was very detailed. This appears to be a bug, and we are still investigating the cause. For now, you can try restarting the NSPanel Pro to see if it supports selection again.
