We are fully understand and completely agree with you.

It’s on our roadmap. We plan to integrate NSPanel Pro to Home Assistant through HA’s MQTT protocol. We are working on it and we hope to release it on November (v4.1.x firmware).

We have many new features on the way. Please keep sending us your feedback.

As feedback from me, it is particularly important that the display can also be switched off using an app (e.g., Home Assistant). This is currently not possible with SonoffLAN integration. Can you build time-based control into the firmware? For example, the display could be switched off between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.

@derPate1989 @cordon2 Hi, the firmware has been deployed for your devices. Please navigate to Settings -> About to check the update. Please let us know if you met any issue.

Thank you very much for the detailed explanation.

I have checked with my colleagues (developers), and here are the results:

  1. We’ve upgraded the Zigbee middleware used in NSPanel Pro which would provides much better Zigbee device compatibility and performance. If you notice the SNZB-02P performs better, this should be the reason.

  2. We haven’t done anything specifically for Sonoff TH Elite. So maybe you could monitor it for a period of time.

Performance differences between versions 120 and 86.

The Home Assistant app stutters extremely badly on the 120 device with 4.0.7, and inputs are significantly delayed. On the 86, it runs smoothly and without delay.

iHost with the updated ewelink-smart-home does not see NSPanel Pro (4.0.7) and the devices connected to it.

NSPanel Pro: 10023a7acc

ewelink-smart-home: version 2.6.0

I think I saw the option to switch off the display. Just dig deeper and you will see the option.

Do not forget ZHA users as by focusing too much on MQTT.

Thanks for answer.

Maybe what you did for Zigbee devices - also helped WiFi devices.

Because for now - WiFi devices are reporting temp and humid values in real time.

PS.

Any progress to fix problem with scenes from iHost - on NS Panel Pro via Cast - not working on and off.

As you probably remember - I described that problem earlier.

I have NSPanel pro 86 and NSPanel pro 120 and last firmware is 3.12 ,why don’t have version 4.x ???

Btw. @MichaelLearnsToCode I forgot to request you include the ability to update firmware for the NsPanel Pros remotely through ewelink, please.

And going forward, I recommend all devices should have a reboot funceature . The addition of rebooting feature in the NsPros is a great feature and is worth Replicating in all Sonoff devices.

Yes, we have fixed this issue. The new version is expected to be released next week. Thank you for your feedback and patience.

This is great news.

Thank you.

Hi, sorry for the issue. From the perspective of hardware specification, NSPanel Pro 120 Type should perform better than 86 Type.

Could you please do following things to doule check the App performance:

  1. Use NSPanel Pro App as the default Home App instead of Home Assistant.
  2. Reboot NSPanel Pro
  3. Use the built-in functions of NSPanel Pro App, such as Screens, device tiles to see whether NSPanel Pro 120 Type is underperformance.

If NSPanel Pro 120 Type works normal before running Home Assistant. Then you could try to reinstall Home Assistant App to see if it fixes the performance issue.

If you need further assistance, please send me a private message. I’ll bring my colleagues to help.

Yes, I see. We will fix it in the next bugfix version which will be released next week.

Hi, sorry for the issue. We have identified the cause, and will fix it today. We’ll release a bugfix version v2.6.1 of eWeLink Smart Home Add-on today.
