Yes, it does although since version 4.x, the changes are quite subtle. Remember to enable Automatic brightness for best results.
I remember. I turned it on.
But at night, the screensaver glows in the eyes. ![]()

I get āerror installing fossify file managerā āfailed to install due to an unknown errorā. Yes I have retried before you ask. As I canāt install FFM, what is the new solution? Also canāt install F-Droid update and the error for that is āno space left on deviceā. So it looks like insufficient space to install FFM, therefore your proposed solution does not work. Can you send me the password so I can use the built in file manager, that will be the quickest and easiest way for me to fix the bugs in your update.

Iām not sure this is the right section/thread. Anyway, after having installed 4.0.x I donāt have the cast page anymore. How do I bring it back? I used to have the NSPanel Pro with cast on and only ātablet usageā and iHost as the main device but it seems I canāt do it anymore.
Certainly! Please feel free to share any issues you encounter or feedback you have. In the new version, the Web Shortcut feature has been removed, but the Webpages functionality remains. You can use this to add CAST for your use. For more detailed step-by-step instructions, please refer to the guide here:
Hi, Could you please provide me with your Device ID for a preliminary check? I will proceed with your case as quickly as possible.
Thank you for your feedback. I believe this isnāt a major issue and should be resolved quickly (I will update you as soon as I have a specific timeline).
Yes, I fully understand the problem youāve described. I will escalate this to my team to explore how we can optimize it for a more user-friendly experience.
I get net::ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED using the webpage suggestion. Update 4.0.x eliminated the cast option for NSPanel Pro and it states to employ F-Droid instead, how? I donāt see available apps for NSPanel PRO that solve the issue.
Could you please send me a separate video of your current operation? This will help me more quickly check if any configuration steps were missed.
Device ID is 10023a8594.
We are redesigning Thermostat. It will take us some time. I donāt have a time point right now, but I will share our new design in this forum when we have it.
just to go as I currently do, is it usable for heating aquariums.
Sorry for the issue. If you use Webpages to visit iHost CAST, you need to use the IP address of your iHost device, instead of the mDNS address which is http://ihost.local.
No, not enough space to install Fossify or any other file manager.
Hi,
I have 4 NSPanel Pro 120.
I updated 2 of them to the version 4.
Can you add my other 2:

Thank you very much.
Hi, thank you very much for your interest in NSPanel Pro v4.x firmware.
Please refer to NSPanel Pro V4.x.x Beta Test Application Tool Now Open to apply for v4.x firmware update. If you encounter any problems during the application process, please let me know.
Sorry for the delay. Iāve sent you the information through personal messasge, please check it.
I would immediately switch to v4.x.x if you release a stable matter bridge and the other features what you mentioned
. I love the idea to use nspanel pro as a real central element of sonoff and other brands ecosystem.
At the moment I can add my devices to HA trough iHost only, so Iām waiting for that!
Thanks!
With the still-developing 4.x.x firmware, thereās a lot of enthusiasm around NSPanel Pro, but itās important to stick to the facts. The panel will not become a full-fledged Zigbee controller in Home Assistant. It does not integrate via ZHA or Zigbee2MQTT, nor does it provide raw access to the Zigbee coordinator, so it cannot be managed like a classic controller.
At present, NSPanel Pro works as a gateway that publishes Zigbee device data through MQTT. This solution works, but it is essentially a āsubstituteā: HA receives the data, yet does not have full control over the Zigbee network. The same applies to the Matter Bridge. If it is implemented in a stable way, it will allow devices to be exposed as Matter, but it will still be a proxy, not native integration. For now, sharing via MQTT works, but it still needs refinement. With Matter it looks similar, and the protocol itself leaves much to be desired, regardless of how eWeLink implements it. Itās also worth remembering that the eWeLink ecosystem was never designed to merge seamlessly with Home Assistant. Sonoff built its own platform and cloud services, and HA has its own native Zigbee solutions (ZHA, Zigbee2MQTT). At some point you have to choose: either stay within the eWeLink world, or go fully native with HA. Expecting Sonoff devices to live in two parallel environments at once is unrealistic.
In summary: NSPanel Pro can be an interesting interface and a central element of the Sonoff ecosystem, but in Home Assistant it will remain an intermediary gateway. Full Zigbee control is provided only by ZHA and Zigbee2MQTT.
