OK I get it… I thought it was the App Store validation delay which caused the release date difference…
Would it be possible to add an “Apps” button when you swipe down from the main menu, which reveals the list of installed apps (including those from F-Droid)? It’s quite clunky to go into F-Droid to access installed apps using the default Sonoff home app, so this change would make things feel a lot more tightly integrated. Thanks.
Good idea! The quick access entry to the app list has been implemented in v4.2.0 (scheduled for December 10th). Please wait patiently for the new version. Thank you for your suggestion, and we’re always happy to hear more ideas about NSPanel Pro!
Thanks for the quick addition of this feature suggestion! I greatly appreciate it. ![]()
Hello,
I am experiencing a critical issue with my NSPanel Pro. The device is constantly restarting itself (boot loop) and is currently unusable.
I have previously submitted feedback regarding this issue via the app. Today, I successfully updated the firmware to version 4.2.0, hoping it would include a fix. Unfortunately, the constant restarting problem persists even after the update.
Details:
- Device: NSPanel Pro 120
- Current Firmware: 4.2.0
Sorry for the issue. Would you please submit a log on the NSPanel Pro device through Top drop-down menu -> Settings -> About -> Feedback -> Submit, and then send me the Device ID of your NSPanel Pro.
Main nspanel pro restart randomly. I am report this Bug and no responze.
Are these implemented in v4.2.0? Do we need an eWeLink update? I don’t see any change..
Hello there, and thanks for the 4.2 release.
It seem that the screensaver part doesn’t work on my device. The main goal is to display HA in launcher mode, but first I tried to just start the app from the default launcher, and the screen stays on. I tried with just the auto-lock setting set to 15s with the screensaver disabled and enabled, both don’t turn the screen off… wasn’t it planned for 4.2?
It’s always a bit messy to make feedback on the forum, wouldn’t you guys have a issue tracker github-style? It would be much easier for feeback followup, feature requests and assign those to release version… for the team and the users
Congrats again and thanks for your work
Got it, we’ll look into it ASAP.
When and where? Have you submitted logs?

To use System-level screensaver, go to Top drop-down menu -> Settings -> Advanced Settings -> Display -> Advanced -> Sleep, choose whatever timeout that suits your use case, also make sure Top drop-down menu -> Settings -> Advanced Settings -> Display -> Advanced -> Screen saver -> When to start is set to While charging or While charging or docked.

I agree, but it’s up to our dear users. You know, users are supposed to create a separate topic to describe the problem they have encountered, but most users are just used to reply to existing topics. You see, this topic is for NSPanel Pro Roadmap and Co-Created Future, but we got many bug reports. We are totally fine with this. I have several colleagues checking this forum every day.
I’m sorry about the inconvenience. I’ve found your feedback and the logs, and I’ll look into it and get back to you as soon as possible.
Hi, since I have upgraded to 4.2.0 I can’t enter to homeassistant. It happens with the app or even with the web browser app. It shows me an error of conectivity to the URL.
Id device 100243b807
What is the URL of your Home Assistant installation? Are you using an mDNS address, like http://homeassistant.local:8123/? If so, you need to change to a normal DNS address, or IP address.
By the way, you should verify the Wi-Fi connectivity of your NSPanel Pro first. When you set Home Assistant companion app as Home App and then reboot NSPanel Pro, Home Assistant companion app may start before Wi-Fi is connected, resulting an error Unable to connect to Home Assistant. This error will disappear automatically when Wi-Fi is connected.
It worked perfectly, thanks…
For the “regular” end-user, wouldn’t it be a good idea to plug the “classic” screen saver settings to the system-level settings?
Another small pain point: when you slide down the menu via the touch button, if you slide up just after that (or after changing a setting),we go back to home screen… shouldn’t we go back to the state we were before opening the menu?
Great work guys!
Hi
I have updated NSPanel Pro to 4.2.0
Ewelink App is version 5.21
I use the panel as a portal to Home Assistant
Issue : The panel appears to display HA text in Black when original config is white / see photos
Original display on iOS IMG_0728
Actual display on NSPanel IMG_0729
Is there a parameter in the panel that defaults text to Black ?
Can be corrected or configured to follow original
Thx
