NSPanel Pro Roadmap and Co-Created Future

This feature was not changed in version 4.3.0 (it is planned to be optimized in version 4.4.0 for a better user experience). However, you can set the Home APP in Advanced Settings to NSPanelPro, then go to APPs → Home App and set another application as the Home APP. After configuring this, the Home APP will function normally while NSPanelPro’s features remain unaffected.

Are you currently unable to upgrade properly? Could you please send me a specific screenshot of the issue? Also, submit the NSPanelPro logs(Top drop-down menu → Settings → About → Feedback → Submit?) and send your device ID to me separately. I will work on identifying the cause of the upgrade failure as soon as possible.

Thank you for your appreciation of the NSPanelPro and for your kind words about our team!

You are absolutely right—there is indeed an issue here. Turbo mode should also take effect in router mode, and we will implement a unified configuration for this in future versions.

We have identified this issue. The problem where the screen still turns off even when “Auto-lock” is set to “Never” is indeed related to this. We will fix it in an upcoming version. For now, you can temporarily use the workaround by going to Advanced Settings > Sleep and setting it to “Never”. Thank you for your understanding.

We’ll verify the second issue shortly.

Thank you for asking. We have completed the technical assessment and will implement it in v4.4.0 which will be released in Feburary 8th, 2026.

Dennis, can you explain for dummies how did you connected NSPP to HA with MQTT. I tried and failed. Dont know of it is because ia had already configured NSPP in HA with the sonoff integration and in my ZIgbee2mqtt platform

Solved it, deleted panel from ztmqtt and sonoff integration, rebooted and then clud connect to mqtt. BUT, I see de entyties and the speaker volume. I would like to use the speaker as an audio output for alarmo notifications. It does not shows as an option for this use. I am doing it wrong or it is something not yet configured to work this way

Right now you can control stuff on the NSPanel, i.e. brightness, volume etc. - it is not a media device or a speaker you could use as an output in HA. As for the plans for that (I mean there was some discussions of using an NSPanel as an Home Assistant voice input/output) only Sonoff / eWeLink knows

It would be great to configure voice anouncements for Alarm status or another automatitations, not for playing music of course

Hello, Please add ability to directly interact with Alexa/Siri. For example like Moes panel switches. The hardware is there you just need to activate the software. Imagine the potential, all your panels can now replace the smart speakers i

Hi, @hkandoi
Thank you for the suggestion! We have noted this feedback and will evaluate its feasibility.

Please make sure your NSPanel Pro is in Beta Testing Program. If it does, but you still encountered issues, please submit a log on your NSPanel Pro device through Top drop-down menu -> Settings -> About -> Feedback -> Submit.

Good morning, NSPanel Pro community. I am new to this forum. I have only recently started working with home automation and am not an expert.

I am supplementing my HA Green with an NSPP120. After using all the beta versions and seeing the update roadmap, I wanted to suggest some functionality that I think could be useful and that is not planned to be incorporated or that I have not been able to configure correctly.

To give you some context, I use all devices from different brands connected to HA via Z2M and the NSPP only through the HA Companion app, but I would like to complement it with the “Smart Alarm” and “Thermostat” modules. To do this, I would need the Zigbee2MQTT devices to appear in the NSPP as compatible sensors and actuators.

  1. Entities linked between HA and NSPP via MQTT: I would like NSPP to read the Z2M devices so that I can configure some inputs of “Frient Module IO” as activation sensors for the “Smart Security” and the temperature and humidity sensors and the actuator of “Aqara W500” as sensors and actuator for the “Thermostat”.
  2. “Virtual entities” between HA and NSPP via MQTT: The improvement mentioned above may exceed the scope of the NSPP, so I will explain it from another point of view. It is possible to manage “virtual entities” (virtual sensors and virtual actuators) in NSPP MQTT that appear in HA in the same way that controls (restart, screen power, etc.) and sensors (ambient light) appear now. These “virtual entities” could be modified in HA and also used as sensors and actuators in the NSPP to configure them in the “Smart Security” and “Thermostat” modules.
In short, these “virtual entities” could be configured in both HA and NSPP.

Other secondary issues that I believe other users have already reported and would be very useful are:

  1. Manually emit sounds in NSPP from HA: I would like you to be able to emit sounds in NSPP when an event occurs and complement what already works, which is turning on the screen and displaying the pop-up through HA Companion.
  2. Two-way “Voice Call”: I would like the “Voice Call” option to be available from the NSPP itself to the configured eWelink apps. Currently, it only works from the eWeLink app to NSPP.
  3. OTA update via HA using Z2M or MQTT: In the future, I would like to see the remote update feature via HA (Z2M or MQTT) implemented, as you have on other Sonoff Zigbee devices via Z2M.
  4. I also support your suggestion for the possible implementation of “Wave your hand to turn on the display”, although it would be ideal if it also worked when detecting people. However, I understand that with only a lux sensor (Ambient light) available, it is difficult to programme the screen to activate with high contrast and work properly.

On the other hand, I would like to thank the NSPP team for the great work they are doing in updating and modernising this device, without forgetting the interest they show in feedback and suggestions from their customers.

Matter support is great with V4.3.0. Thanks to the Sonoff team.

My s-cam gen2 cameras and MINI-RBS are not currently supported.

Is there a roadmap or forcast for these?

Buenas tardes.

¿Me podéis ayudar?

Right, of course… well, it’s not really clear what you’re trying to achieve — everything you expect from the NSPP is already handled by HA, and the panel is not, and will not become, a gateway or an automation system. It’s a bit like trying to turn a TV remote into a home control center.

Take a moment to reread your own explanation — it might help clarify the situation because in your scenario, the NSPP’s “autonomy” ends the moment HA goes offline — precisely when you’d want it to keep working.

Both devices can currently be added to the ewelink app and then synced to the NSPanel Pro screen for use. Could you please describe the specific issue you are encountering in detail? Is it a failure to add the devices, abnormal behavior during control, or something else?

If possible, please provide a short video of the issue, then submit the NSPanel Pro logs(Top drop-down menu → Settings → About → Feedback → Submit) and privately send me the device ID. I will work on identifying the cause of the problem ASAP.

I apologize, as I am not very proficient in Spanish, so I can only rely on translation to understand part of the content. Allow me to confirm some details with you:

Are your three NSPanel Pro devices operating in different modes? Under which gateway is the ZBMINIR2 bound, and where is the mapping incorrect? Could you please submit the specific logs from the NSPanel Pro gateway? (Path: Top drop-down menu → Settings → About → Feedback → Submit)

Does this issue mean: You have enabled relay separation, but the device is not actually operating according to the settings?

You can provide me with the iHost logs or NSPanel Pro logs.

Regarding OTA updates: Are you trying to update the firmware for all child devices under the iHost or NSPanel Pro? (If so, currently only the ewelink web portal has a batch update feature.) Or does the update fail when trying to update any single device? (If that’s the case, you could try updating one device, and if it fails, promptly submit the NSPanel Pro logs and then send me the device ID separately.)

About the ewelink app crashing in this scenario: Thank you for the feedback from previous users. We have observed some error messages in the logs and are currently working on resolving this issue.

My devices are connected to ewelink. I’m using them without any problems.

Problem: I can’t synchronize my camera and MINIRBS devices with MATTER support. It says DEVICE NOT SUPPORTED on the ewelink synchronization screen.

Muchas gracias.
