NSPanel PRO Beta Version 4.4.6 Feedback

@clem_z OK, I will check the logs as soon as possible.
@albertoxavier @fedpalo
I would like to confirm a few more points:

  1. Are you willing to try setting the screen to never turn off and see if the issue still occurs?
  2. On which page do you see the NSPanel Pro WiFi disconnected? Is it in the eWeLink app or a prompt on the NSPanel Pro screen?
  3. When the issue occurs, could you promptly submit the NSPanel Pro logs (Top drop-down menu → Settings → About → Feedback → Submit) and also send me the device ID separately?

Since my panel has been on 4.4.6 the zigbee network seems more stable, but my panel infrequently reboots itself (maybe once or twice per day - I might not always notice it). There may also be a problem with the wifi. RTSP camera feeds frequently stop or won’t connect at all, and I often see a message at the top of the screen informing me that matter devices have been discovered on the LAN. I haven’t noticed a problem with any other wifi devices on my network.

I’ve sent feedback.

The same happens to me, I also sometimes experience a popup which says, more or less “nspanel program doesn’t respond, wait or close” and I’m no more allowed to switch on and off some zigbee actuators

This problem is common and since nspp is just a decoration on the wall, it doesn’t bother mee

Since 4.4.x release I have to agree with you, with 4.3 and earlier releases I had no or very few issues.

Hello. My panel rebooted itself again. It had the “NSPanelPro isn’t responding” message when it turned back on. Submitting feedback also took longer than normal. At first it failed, which I’ve never seen before, but then it succeeded.

Mine also ran very well on the older versions. 4.4.6 fixed my zigbee problems, but I’m sure something’s gone wrong with the wifi.

Hi

I am using auto start home assistant and could not access again the main sonoff software (another problem that would like to know how to fix).

The zigbee sensors show unavailable on HA and NS panel pro disconnected from EWelink app.

Now appears the circle to close the HA app when I click in the circle that restart the system but now always fix wifi and zigbee problem.

I am.using 4.4.6 version

I will send my device ID in private message

Thanks
Alberto

Please submit the NSPanel Pro logs and send me your device ID (I will check it ASAP).

1)always on screen is already active

2)in the eWelink app

3)sure, I will submit feedback next time

@Milk it is kind of strange but since the update of the homassistant app from 2025.11 to 2026.04 available since a few days on F-droid my wifi problems seem to be disappeared, at least the connection dropouts are no longer present. I changed nothing except the update of the app. Could it be the solution?

best

Thank you for your information. Since you reported the issue, we have been testing with the NSPanel Pro on version 4.4.6. Apart from disconnections occurring on poor WiFi networks, we have not been able to reproduce your issue under normal conditions.

Hi Milk, any new so far about R5 device and fantom button presses?

Hi Milk,

I have the exact same problem. The Zigbee network works better now, but the device constantly disconnects from Wi-Fi (I enabled Developer Options to keep the screen always on, but it still happens). I saved two Wi-Fi networks so that the device automatically switches between the two networks and reconnects automatically without waking up the screen. All the local scenes set are still activated when Wi-Fi is connected. The disconnection occurs about every 10 minutes and is quite frustrating. The Wi-Fi router is right in front of the device and has an excellent signal, so I would rule out a bad network. I’ll send you feedback.

I keep having problems with the NSPanel Pro and the TRVZB valves. Basically, I have the valves synchronized with the NSPanel Pro, and through the eWeLink Smart Home add-on I add them to iHost and then sync them to Apple Home. However, with this method I have issues managing the valves because I cannot turn them off, and very often they lose the configuration I have set.

I also tried syncing them directly from the NSPanel Pro to Apple Home via the Matter Hub, but the valves are recognized as multiple devices (an on/off switch and a thermostatic valve), which makes them difficult to manage.

At the moment, I have synchronized the valves directly with iHost and then with Apple Home, and with this method I do not have any problems. However, I cannot manage the valves from the eWeLink app or from eWeLink Web.

This issue has been resolved on April 24. You do not need to upgrade the NSPanel Pro version. May I ask whether the issue still exists? If it does, could you please provide a screenshot or the specific time/date?

I am experiencing non-standard situations, when switching zigbee mode multiple times in NSPP, a situation occurs where it is no longer possible to switch the mode until a restart.

My assumption is that it takes a while to switch to the selected mode. The situation that the user wants to switch the mode again shortly after is not handled.

This would be solved by a dialog that would warn that the device is switching to a need to wait.

My NSPanel Pro 120 has updated to beta version 4.4.6, even though I never requested to participate in the beta testing program. Now, all my Zigbee devices (over 40) have gone offline. What can I do to restore the previous version without having to re-add every single Zigbee device? Also, if I perform a downgrade, will I have to recreate all my scenes from scratch?

The new version just helped me, I finally have a Matter bridge between iHost and NSPP. I the thermometers worked, it would be perfect.

Hi, sorry for the impact on your user experience. Regarding the TRV — after syncing, it appears as two devices (one switch and one thermostatic valve). I have reported this issue to the Matter Bridge team, and they will optimize it in a future version.

If your device is added directly under iHost, you can use iHost’s Matter Bridge and then scan the code with the eWeLink app to sync the device to eWeLink for control. This process requires the device and your phone to be on the same local network.

Hi, 4.4.6 is currently the live version, not a beta version, so your device will receive the new version update.

Regarding the sub-devices being offline — is everything back to normal now? (After an upgrade, some background services restart, so devices may briefly go offline.) If your device is still offline at this point, please try power-cycling the NSPanel Pro and wait 3–5 minutes. If the device still does not come online, please promptly submit the NSPanel Pro logs and send me your device ID separately.
