Ciao @massimo.baschieri . If you do not have that many devices to re-add, i would suggest to do the steps above. Factory reset the nspanel pro, leave it for 10 minutes, then re-enroll to the beta updates , and update again to 4.4.6. This will reinstall all the services, and your device should get rid of that issue.
Note: this will remove all your devices, and you will have to re-pair them after updating to 4.4.6. Also you will have to re-add the nspanel pro to eWelink app.
thanks for the suggestion, but since nspp features are not so critical for me at this stage (I use it mainly as a thermostat and luckily we are approaching hot season) I prefer to wait for an update.
In case an update it’s not in roadmap soon, or an update is not by any chance going to solve my issue, I’ll think about your suggestion.
Hi, are you still encountering the issue where the device shows no response? If you dismiss this prompt, does the device still work normally?
Could you please submit the NSPanel Pro logs(Top drop-down menu → Settings → About → Feedback → Submit) promptly when the issue occurs, and also send me your device ID separately
@p.silhan@djbthomson Hi, the fix for this issue has been confirmed. It is expected to be resolved next week (this is not related to the NSPanel Pro version). I will keep you updated here once the fix is applied.
@Milk : as also described in Tickets have no reply - #3 by vpolizzi , I have frequent issues with the Wifi connections lost. Other wifi decives have no issues (e.g. NSP non pro panels) and other smart home devices. What can be the issue? If i restart (cold restart via a switchable socket) the NSPro it might work for 10 min or a day until it looses the connection until the next tap on the screen and if unsucessfull reboot. What could it be? With the 4.4.6 Zigbee seems much mor stable and my device remains connected (unless the NSPro losses wifi connection of course).
Before version 4.4.6, the Zigbee network connection was unstable.
After 4.4.6, the NSPanel Pro’s Wi-Fi still disconnects frequently. Does it recover when you wake the screen or restart the device?
Regarding the Wi-Fi issue, you could try connecting the NSPanel Pro to your phone’s hotspot first and observe whether the connection remains stable. If it stays stable, the problem might be related to some router settings (a previous user encountered a similar issue and resolved it by replacing the router). Alternatively, you can submit the logs promptly when the issue occurs, and I’ll try to look for clues.
Yes correct. Now Zigbee seems stable with 4.4.6, but I can’t verify it 100% because in an unpredictable way the Wifi breaks down. Could be 10 min or 1-2 days without Wifi interuptions.
Wifi recovers sometimes when I wake the screen, sometimes a restart (via a switchable plug) is necessary.
I dont believe my router is the problem. Wifi disconnects were not happening (at least so frequent) with firmwares older than 4.4.6. Furthermore my routersettings have not changed since ages and non of my 30-40 devices has wifi problems, thus I think it is safe to bet that the router is not the problem. I am frequently outside home, thus the wifihotspot is not feasbile and then i will also loose my conneciton to the homeassistant. I sent you my logs now, but I am not sure if the logs are cleared after a recent reboot.
