Hi again!

After receiving the update the APP part updates successfully, but the OS still fails to install.
During the update process the device reboots into the recovery screen and shows the same error every time:

E3001: Package expects build fingerprint ...
this device has .../181102:userdebug/test-keys
E:Error in /cache/recovery/block.map (Status 7)
Installation aborted.

Also, in this recovery menu the touchscreen does not respond, so it’s impossible to navigate

This issue already happened before when I had APP 3.12.0 / OS 3.9.4, but now after booting the system says that my OS is outdated and needs to be updated. It downloads the update, reboots, then fails and repeats the same cycle endlessly.

How can I fix this and update the OS correctly?

Very sorry for the issue.

When you see the notification the system says that my OS is outdated and needs to be updated, there is a button (with texts like background download) next to the progress bar. Click that button and then you can continue to use the device.

Go to the Settings -> About page, check the App version, is it v4.0.10? And then submit a log through Settings -> About -> Feedback -> Submit.

Version 4.0.11, feedback submitted

Got it, we’ll look into it ASAP.

Hi, would you please reboot NSPanel Pro and go through the update process again? We did some adjustment to our OTA server, we would want to verify if it solves the issue.

Hi, I’m getting the same error

Got it. Thank you very much for your confirmation, and sorry for the issue. We are working on it.

Hi, I think we have identified the root cause of the issue. We are implementing the solution now. We should be able to release a new firmware on Friday or Saturday. Please bear with us.

Hi, we have just released v4.0.12 firmware which should fix the OTA issue you are experiencing.

Would you please restart your NSPanel Pro and check the update again?

Hi,

for some reason, version 4.0.10 is being downloaded and trying to install. I currently have version 4.0.11. So the error still persists for now.

Got it, sorry for the issue. We’ll look into it ASAP.

Sorry for the delay. There was a configuration issue in our OTA service, but now it has been solved. Please check the latest firmware which is v4.0.12 right now through Settings -> About -> Software Update on your NSPanel Pro device. Let me know if you met any issue.
