Even for Aquarium, I need a lower threshold
The minimum is 0.5 degrees, which is too much with the heating on. Itâs already cold in the house
Adding my issues into this topic.
I have 5 Ns Panel Pros all on latest FW 4.0.12. The termostats just hang in either a âheatingâ or âoffâ state and are not triggered or influenced by the target temp.
E.g Room temp is 20. Target Temp is 22 - no action
If already âheatingâ and one drops the target temp to say 15 degrees it just continues to cycle on âheatingâ.
The termo plug in via the app works fine. The issue seems to be with the NS Panel Pro.
Any advice? This worked well in FW 3.xx
Using App Version 5.21.1
Updated to Version 4. Actuator didnât turn off when target temp reached and exceeded by 0.9. I have two schedules for day and night with just 0.5 difference
Same issue here.
Also I do have two scenes, which in eWeLink app (iOS) run OK, but one fails od NSPanelPro. ![]()
Thank you all for reporting issues and suggesting new features. We are working on Thermostat and going to redesign it.
Weâd love to hear more suggestions, so please tell us how you think the Thermostat should work.
I donât believe they are interested in proper heating regulation. I argued with them about how heating is actually done, but without an answer.
@Jojkoba We are definitely interested in improving Thermostat function. There are many things going on for NSPanel Pro (you can check the roadmap), and Thermostat is on the list. Anyway, apologies for the delay.
Thermostat improvement planned for February 6.

Could you just focus on fixing current thermostat features ASAP?
I undertand there is a lot of (for me) complicated features, but I would appreciate get the basics working first an then build new features.
Could you just focus on fixing current thermostat features ASAP?
Certainly, thatâs what I am doing right now. Please allow me two days to list the things we should fix immediately. At the same time, please tell us what other things related to Thermostat should we also consider.

Sorry for the trouble. If it is a bug, weâll fix it ASAP.
By the way, is the Thermo plugin on eWeLink App good enough for your use cases?
We sincerely appreciate your numerous feedbacks. Itâs our fault that we havenât paid enough attention to them. We are working on it now.
Please submit a log on the NSPanel Pro device through Top drop-down menu -> Settings -> About -> Feedback -> Submit. The best timing is right after you notice the malfunction.
Got it. What value should it be? 0.1? 0.2?
Hi Michael, Thanks for coming back. Also seeing issues on the termoplug in activating ZBMINIR2s.
In general, I purchased 5 NS Panel Pros to substitute thermostats in my house so I really need these to work. How can we find a solution. I have 5 of them on FW V 4.0.12 and all non responsive to trigger the Heating or cooling action.
I also send feedback. Heater thermostat is set at 26 with 0.5 thershold. Did not turned off at 27.
0.5 degrees is too much of a deviation because the floor is cold and needs to be heated for a long time. The best option is to set the tolerance to at least 0.1 degree.
Michael this is very important product for Sonoff. I believe thermostat is the most important feature. Home Assistant also, but they are much more users out there they will able to buy NSpanel Pro if you offer a stable and smart thermostat. Many of us we begin with this product just to upgrade our thermostat and now we have more than 100 devices.
Wait until February for the thermostat? we are heating now and we canât wait. How are you going to make the logic for the thermostat?
The entire design of your heating control is wrong. Letâs look at an example of how heating is usually done.
It is set so that the temperature in rooms 1-4 must not drop below 20 degrees. If the temperature drops below 20 degrees, for example on thermometer number 3, the heat pump will turn on. Through module R2 and then open valve number 3
To warm up a room where the temperature has dropped. Your design works in such a way that any thermostat will turn off the heating, and the one that needs to heat will turn on the heating, which causes them to end up in a loop. Properly, no thermostat should ever be turned off if one of the thermostats has started heating.
This is how multi-zone heating works. It can be set on iHost through scenes, but on nSpanel Pro or eWeLink, it is not possible. All of us who respond have this problem.
It is important to be able to add multiple devices that should turn on when heating or cooling.
Got NSPanel as Thermostat and control device (scenes) to avoid need for smartphone and also to improve zigbee coverage in house. Thats it. Roadmap is impressive, but Home Assistent and all the advanced features are far beyond my expectations.
I heat the weekend house, so I need to start boiler first (TH Origin, one for the house), keep it running and then I can regulate separate rooms via Thermostatic Radiator Valve.
With underfloor heating you need to use a different approach. thermostatic heads can control it but it will only work until you donât need to control the heat pump, boiler, furnace, circulation pump.
I want to offer my customers everything from Sonoff, they are affordable and the quality far exceeds the price of the product. Unlike Hikvision, they are capable of constructive debate with Ewelink. I also criticize here, but thatâs so that they can move on.
Your TH origin turns on the independent heating, but with what Iâm installing, itâs not possible to solve it this way.
Donât worry, we are working on it. Many of you have told us that Thermostat is the key feature, and we are into it.
Would you please provide following information so we could better understand your usage scenario and issues:
-
Please submit a log on the NSPanel Pro device through
Top drop-down menu -> Settings -> About -> Feedback -> Submit. The best timing is right after you notice the malfunction. And tell me theDevice IDof your NSPanel Pro device through private message. -
Why would you need 5 NSPanel Pro to substitute 5 thermostats? I thought 1 termostat device is enough for the whole house. I understand you may need 5 temperature sensors.
-
What kind of heating device are you using? You can turn it on and off in each room?
Please send me the Device ID of your NSPanel Pro through private message, so we could locate the log you submitted.
