I am desperately trying to find a workaround to this issue myself not knowing current state of a device switch. Please keep me in the loop in case you have any ideas.

My problem is I canât use Car Play Scenes to work with respective devices in my vehicle when Iâm out of internet area. I have the advanced plan however itâs no good when Iâm in the mountains or in an area with no internet service.
Iâm still waiting for a response from eWeLink; they are completely ignoring me. I may be forced to discard eWeLink Carplay and related devices and use a Garmin product which will require that I rewire my controlled devices.
eWeLink, why donât you charge me an upfront charge and enable my two eWeLink wifi relay switches to work with Carplay Scenes on the local LAN network (in my GMC truck) without cloud connection. This will help me a lot.

for now eWeLink scenes are based on eWeLink cloud.
and may I ask if your truck is moving, how can your phone and your wifi relay switches be on the local LAN network? or is your truck stopped at where the relays were installed?
The truck has its own built in wifi hotspot which is always on (with ignition on) and effectively serves as a local LAN with or without internet service.
I am disappointed with your response hence will discard my eWeLink advanced plan subscription soon as I develop an alternate solution; canât be tied to a device not entirely in my control.

I have setup scenes in Carplay and as others have said it works really well. Unfortunately the scene status is not displayed causing me to close gates while I believe that I am opening them 
.
I also setup a âCar Dashboardâ in Ewelink CAST and can see the status of devices, dynamic icons included 
. I can view the dashboard via a browser in the car. Unfortunately CarPlay does not allow a browser, therefore would it be possible to add the Ewelink CAST dashboard (or something similiar) to the Ewelink for CarPlay? I prefer to use CarPlay for the central location of my infotainment/app hence looking to see if the Ewelink CAST dashboard could be available via the Ewelink app for Carplay.
See attached images. I am currently playing around with the Ewelink CAST dashboard to get the best sizing for the car screen.
