I am desperately trying to find a workaround to this issue myself not knowing current state of a device switch. Please keep me in the loop in case you have any ideas.

My problem is I can’t use Car Play Scenes to work with respective devices in my vehicle when I’m out of internet area. I have the advanced plan however it’s no good when I’m in the mountains or in an area with no internet service.
I’m still waiting for a response from eWeLink; they are completely ignoring me. I may be forced to discard eWeLink Carplay and related devices and use a Garmin product which will require that I rewire my controlled devices.
eWeLink, why don’t you charge me an upfront charge and enable my two eWeLink wifi relay switches to work with Carplay Scenes on the local LAN network (in my GMC truck) without cloud connection. This will help me a lot.

for now eWeLink scenes are based on eWeLink cloud.
and may I ask if your truck is moving, how can your phone and your wifi relay switches be on the local LAN network? or is your truck stopped at where the relays were installed?
The truck has its own built in wifi hotspot which is always on (with ignition on) and effectively serves as a local LAN with or without internet service.
I am disappointed with your response hence will discard my eWeLink advanced plan subscription soon as I develop an alternate solution; can’t be tied to a device not entirely in my control.
