AIR GUARD SAWF-08P: iHOST - Temperature can not be used as a Scene trigger

Temperature and humidity data cannot yet be utilized as triggers for scenes within the i-HOST system.

When is this issue expected to be resolved?

Thanks

Hello, thank you for your feedback. To help us better understand the issue you’re encountering, we would need you to provide the following information:

  1. The current firmware version of your iHost.

  2. Which specific temperature and humidity sensor cannot be used as a scene trigger? Please provide the device model and device ID.

We look forward to your reply. Thank you again for your cooperation!

Temperature and humidity data from the SAWF-08P device can be used in the iHost to trigger scenes. The problem is with the eWeLink Smart Home add-on, which does not update this data in the iHost in real time.

The version of my i-HOST is 2.10.2.
The device ID within i-HOST is aadbb875-7d71-4e2b-b177-84d081597122, while the corresponding ID in the eWeLink App is 10027ab7b3.
The SAWF-08P firmware version is 1.1.2, and the connector version on the SAWF-08P is 1.2.17.

Regardless of the underlying cause —whether due to a failure in real-time data synchronization or any other factor —the consequence is that i-HOST cannot generate scenes of this nature.

Such scenes fail to trigger when the conditions are set, for instance, to greater than or equal to 25ÂșC, less than or equal to 26ÂșC, or any other temperature threshold.

Indeed, upon entering a temperature or humidity value, the blue confirmation button at the bottom of the window never activates to validate the input.

This anomaly is not attributable to version 2.10.2; rather, it has persisted identically in earlier versions, such as version 2.9.0.

Thank you. Greetings

Hello, thank you for your detailed description. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. To help us accurately identify the root cause, could you please assist us by providing the following information?

  1. Please provide the device ID. If convenient, could you also record a complete operation video showing the process from entering the scene editing interface, selecting a temperature/humidity condition, entering a specific threshold, and finally being unable to click the confirmation button? This will greatly help us understand where the issue occurs.

  2. Please go to the iHost local web page (http://ihost.local), navigate to Settings → System Log, click Download Log, and then submit the log file via the feedback feature or send it directly to us (if the file is large, you can upload it to a cloud drive and share the link).

Once we receive the video and logs, we will analyze them immediately. Thank you again for your patience and cooperation.

I have prepared a video documenting the anomaly and downloaded the log from the i-HOST.

Here te video:

The log with a shared link

Hello, thank you for providing the video and logs. After you finish entering the threshold value, simply click on any blank area of the page (or press the Enter key), and the button will become clickable. This is due to a front‑end styling issue. We have logged this experience issue and will optimise it in a future version. If you still cannot save the scene, please contact us again. Thank you for your understanding and support!

Good morning!

This solution is also not effective.

After entering the corresponding value, the blue button is not activated when pressing Enter, nor by clicking anywhere on the screen.

I have tried several browsers, but the problem persists: Chrome, Opera and Edge.

Conclusion: The scene cannot be completed.

Thanks. Greetings

Hello, thank you for your detailed feedback and test results.

To help us further troubleshoot the issue, please complete the following checks:

After entering the value, click the blue button directly with your mouse and check if it can be activated normally.

If the button still does not work, please provide the specific version of your browser.

We also recommend restarting your iHost device, then re-entering the scene configuration process to test again.

Thank you for your cooperation. We look forward to your reply and will assist you as soon as possible.

I restarted i-HOST twice, and after generating with SAWF-08P a new scene with temperatura as trigger, the problem persists.

After entering the value, clicking the blue button directly with the mouse, the blue button doesn’t activate it.

The same thing happens when pressing Enter and clicking anywhere else on the screen.

And while testing I discovered yet another anomaly, which in this case affects the CO2 threshold: The blue button does not activate until the fourth digit is entered. (See screenshots)

My browser is Opera One (version: 132.0.5905.11).

The same with Google Chrome browser Version 148.0.7778.217 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Thanks. Greetings

I also recommend reviewing the operation of the SAWF-07P (PM 2.5 & PM 10), as I have observed that the same issue arises with scenes when attempting to utilize temperature or humidity values: the blue button fails to activate.

Consequently at this device, it is impossible to configure a scene using any temperature or humidity value as a trigger.

Hello, thank you for providing the browser information and your detailed test feedback. Regarding the CO₂ threshold setting, the valid input range is 400 ppm to 5000 ppm.

  1. If the value you enter (e.g., 123) is outside this range (below 400), the blue confirmation button will not activate – this is normal behavior.

  2. When you enter a fourth digit (e.g., 400 or 4000), the value falls within the valid range, and the button becomes clickable.

  3. It is not that four digits are required; rather, the entered value must be between 400 and 5000 (for example, 400 is three digits and still activates the button).

Thank you for your cooperation.

Hello, thank you for your detailed testing and feedback. Pressing the Enter key does not activate the button; instead, you need to click on any blank area outside the input field. The issue where the confirmation button does not activate after entering a value has been reported to our technical team and is planned to be optimized in a future version. In the meantime, you can save the threshold by clicking outside the input box. Thank you for your patience and support!

Sorry, no space inside or outside the data entry field allows saving the threshold by clicking.

Therefore, in my case, this isn’t a valid workaround while the issue is being resolved with a new version.

Tanks. Greetings

About the valid input range of CO2. Understood

Thanks.

Don’t forget that the same thing happens with the SAWF-07P (PM 2.5 - PM 10) with scenes when attempting to utilize temperature or humidity values as trigger: the blue button fails to activate.

Greetings

Hello, we sincerely apologize for the unpleasant experience. We plan to optimize the issue where the confirmation button cannot be activated after entering a value in a future version.

Hello, thank you for your additional feedback. This issue will be included in the optimization plan for a future version together with the SAWF-08P case. Thank you for your patience and support!
