【Add-on Guide】Paral-Sync: Sync your NSPanel Pro sub devices to CUBE

Go away and stop trying to start a childish argument. They are as the iHost bridges devices to the matter network, so they appear as matter devices, as is needed for the suggested plan to work. My question was whether all their Zigbee devices could be bridged to the matter network and appear as matter devices on the matter network.

Here is my experience!

I connected iHost via matter to HA! What I noticed is that it does not support all devices (in my specific case SNZB-05).

Also, with other devices, only the basic entity appears, for example: SNZB-02/P gives only temperature and humidity, ZBMINIL2, ZBMINIR2 only gives the option of switching on/off …

Are those photos recent? When I last tried matter both the iHost Matter and the Home Assistant were both on Beta, with nothing at all working.
I use Zigbee2MQTT on the HA so if a Zigbee device does not work correctly on the iHost I just use MQTT from Node Red on the iHost.

The water sensor is only supported by Matter 1.3. The support will come later for iHost/eWeLink CUBE.

I think that would apply to Matter Bridges from other brands. Matter only supports basic features as of the very recent version. The standard focuses more on universal local control across platforms and extensive device types.

easy guys, no need to get into a fight when helping others

I think the team’s looking into such potential, but considering there are already lots of things running on the panel, not sure it will come in the end.

And like jam3 suggested. Matter involves lots of confusion when being marketed. Strictly speaking, Zigbee won’t be Matter cuz it’s not based on IPv6. While Matter Bridge - “the translator” - is the one that’s called a Matter device.

It’s a pain in a*s to see someone advertising with a “Matter-Over-Zigbee” badge which doesn’t even exist. :smiling_face_with_tear:

This isn’t an argument; it’s simply a fact. Facts remain facts regardless of anyone’s opinion, including yours. Let’s keep the conversation constructive.

Yes, those photos are recent!

If a person chooses to control the temperature of all the radiators (10 TRVZB on NSPP + ihost) in his house, and he has to create scenes that remain active even when there is no internet connection, how do he do it? Will he stay cold or will he still be warm?
Thk

It sounds like things work better but there is still one beta software. It’s been in beta a long time. Back when I tried nothing worked at all and you can just import the eWeLink Palette into Bode Red on the Home Assistant anyway, so there didn’t seem much point.

I’m not understanding the purpose to have some devices connected to NSPanel and other devices connected to iHost.

Why not just connecting all of them directly to iHost?

that’s just a demo to show the relation of these devices, and how can they be exposed to Alexa
