Works with Home Assistant

How about joining the Works with Home Assistant partnership? This has recently been joined by the Aqara brand.

It would be interesting if they did something similar. However, I was looking at the issue of Aqara and in this case it would be the new Matter devices, right?

I believe so, but it can be any device.

I think that then both Sonoff and us as end users would benefit!

We are interested in the “Works with Home Assistant” program, we are working on the ZHA for all the latest SONOFF Zigbee devices.

What exactly do you do?

We want to integrate the “special features” of the devices in ZHA.
Such special features are normally available if you add the devices to eWeLink via the SONOFF Zigbee hub. For the instance of the ZigBee relay switch product, you can not see the setting of “turbo mode”, “detach mode”, “inching”, and “external switch option” in ZHA. So it needs some further work like developing a device-specific Python script (quirk) to resolve compliance and interoperability issues.

Good to know. Any space we can see the progress and/or test your work? GitHub?
I believe you may want to contact the developer of SonoffLAN and collaborate with this guy. It will certainly be to the benefit of all concerned. In addition, it will be some practical step towards Works with Home Assistant nirvana :sunglasses:

You can know the progress via the folder of zha-device-handlers/tree/dev/zhaquirks.
Link: zha-device-handlers/zhaquirks/sonoff at dev · zigpy/zha-device-handlers · GitHub
We are working on the upcoming new device ZBMINIR2 (Keep it confidential ) first. and then move forward to others.

There are conditions to join the “Works with Home Assistant” program.

I don’t think SonoffLAN is the acceptable method.

It isn’t but the guy has his head full of ideas.

Can you? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

@Daniel_Zhan when will the Matter device be available for sale
SONOFF MINI-D Wi-Fi Smart Switch?

End of the year. The dry contact product with DC input.
