There is a new feature in the Sonoff LAN integration that will probably be of interest to TRVZB users. Well, thanks to international cooperation and delving into the meanderings of the Sonoff software, we have managed to add base support for TRVZB. If anyone is interested, be sure to update the Sonoff LAN to version 3.8.2. In addition, support has been added for, among others, the Sonoff SWV and the Sonoff SNZB-05P, as well as sound action buttons to TX Ultimate.
I’m using TRVZB in iHost and integrating it into Home Assistant via Homebridge. This is the only way I can enable the automatic mode on TRVZB. If I connect the TRVZB directly to Home Assistant or via Matter, I only have the option for manual control. I’ve temporarily solved the problem this way, and for now, it works stably. I’m still waiting for them to update the hysteresis!
It does matter… If it worked with the Sonoff LAN integration, I wouldn’t be struggling with iHost, and I would have integrated my TRVZB into Home Assistant in a simple way a long time ago. Can you confirm that it now works in the way mentioned above? I have a Sonoff Zigbee Bridge Pro (I hope it works over LAN). If it now works with the Zigbee Bridge Pro, then the iHost has become redundant. Wasted money! Home Assistant is all I need!
Please read this. I can confirm that it works with TRVZB. However, you need to remember that this is the work in progress. It doesn’t offer full support yet.
Try this new release from GitHub. Note: climate.py, switch.py and core/devices.py should be replaced. Be sure to disable SonoffLAN integration before any changes are made. Afterwards reenable it and restart HA.
hvac mode now works like presets (off = off, heat = manual, auto = auto)
