Hi, I’m using an tuya rgb controller zigbee over ihost and I only can control on/off and Brightness but rgb color option isn’t apeare. the model is Tuya TS0503B. Also in my TS0504B RGBW isn’t expose the white control.
The Tuya device uses the color_xy
cluster for color control, which should be supported soon. (Hopefully in a month)
You can find the cluster information on the Zigbee2MQTT website.
and what about the other device tuya TS0504B RGBW, it can change the rgb color (it apeare in ihost) but can’t select the white temperature control?
He must probably be using it in a different way.
How was he recognized?
f
It recognized as an standard RGB strip by not as a RGBW with white control.
Yes, which model appears in the iHost settings?
So you can search on Z2M and see the difference!
Device ID: 0xa4c138073141f03c
Manufacturer: _TZ3210_onejz0gt
Model: TS0504B
so I don’t know why if the TS0503B (RGB) and TS0504B (RGBW) are practical the same model, over ihost TS0504 can control as a normal RGB but not white and TS0503B can’t control as a RGB only Brightness and on/off. both devices use the color_xy.
Just one more curiosity, are they from the same manufacturer? I know they are Tuyas, but are they from the same brand? For example, are they MOES or something like that? Or would they be generic Tuya.
Because I have three of these strips of different models for testing and each one is different from the other, but they are all RGBW. However, each one on the Tuya console is recognized in a different way. I believe ZigBee should be the same. Each manufacturer changes something.
both were buyed from the same store (same seller on aliexpress) and physically identical. This is the information showing in ihost:
Device ID: 0xa4c138073141f03c
Manufacturer: _TZ3210_onejz0gt
Model: TS0504B
Device ID: 0xa4c138b5e352dfe5
Manufacturer: _TZ3210_95txyzbx
Model: TS0503B
Over matter (Apple and Alexa) both only can control on/off and Brightness.
Why if both use color_xy only TS0504B can control on ihost the rgb color and TS0503B can’t ?
Then I can only assume Tuya even has different configure for the same model that’s common for some brands, too like Aqara (different firmware/product batch)
Can you please download the logs so our developer can take a closer look?
I already sent it by feedback option.
have news?
Hey,
Sorry for the late reply.
I can not track your ticket without the number.
Have you received any response from the support deck?
Yes the number is 216041
I think the support answer is the same for the colour issue, it will be supported soon;
For the missing colour temperature option, I suspect it did not report the entity at all, according to the Z2M database
This month?
It may come by the end of this month, but I can not guarantee it now.
nous P3 lamps are made on this chip. Here it is the other way around - there is no color control, there are only shades of white
