This release introduces built-in eWeLink Smart Home for easier device syncing, expands compatibility for multiple SONOFF devices and support for Matter Bridge camera capabilities, with improved room temperature sensing for SONOFF TRVZB. Please take a moment to read through the notes before updating to this version.
New Features:
A simpler way to sync eWeLink-linked devices is now available in CUBE. Sign in with your eWeLink account from Home > Add Device to sync and manage eligible devices directly in CUBE, without installing the eWeLink Smart Home Add-on. Note: Existing add-on devices will continue to work independently.
Added support for the following SONOFF devices:
SONOFF SNZB-06P24 24GHz presence sensor.
SONOFF SNZB-03PR2 motion sensor with illuminance reporting.
SONOFF SWV-ZF2U / SWV-ZF2E dual-channel smart water valve.
SONOFF BASIC-ZB1GSP smart plug with energy monitoring.
Syncing eligible cameras to the added Matter platforms via Matter Bridge is now available, with video and audio streaming.
SONOFF SNZB-02B can now be used as an external sensor for SONOFF TRVZB, providing more accurate room temperature readings.
Bug Fixes:
Fixed an issue where the energy consumption graph failed to load for Zigbee plugs synced to iHost via eWeLink Smart Home Add-on.
Fixed the issue where iHost backup file corruption caused startup failure and inability to add Zigbee devices.
When will the new version be available for CubeOS running on its own hosting and docker? Are the synchronized devices independent of the Cloud and is it possible to control them locally even with weak internet?
Hello, currently iHost supports adding cameras via two universal protocols ā ONVIF and RTSP ā so the vast majority of mainstream camera brands on the market are compatible for use.
If you have any other ideas or needs regarding cameras, please feel free to let us know at any time. We will compile your suggestions and forward them to our R&D team as a reference for future feature optimization. Thank you for your support!
Itās not really an idea, itās more of a question. Will there be any evolution of this? Exporting the movements and detections that the camera exports via ONVIF?
And once again, congratulations on being the first to support and offer this! Itās working perfectly on SmartThings.
Hi @Unnamedi
Is your SmartThings audio transmitted bidirectionally?
I have a CAM PAN TILT 2 camera added to IHOST. SmartThings shows both video and audio from the camera, but when I turn on the microphone in the SmartThings app, thereās no sound coming from the cameraās speaker.
Dear Customers,
As the Dragon Boat Festival approaches, SONOFF will be observing a short holiday from June 19 to June 21, 2026.
During this period, responses to inquiries and order processing may be delayed. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and patience.
Node-red addon cannot be installed in docker hub. I would like to know when this will be fixed.
At the beginning of the video, you can see that the TF card is almost empty and that addons such as: koenkk/zigbe2mqtt; eclipse/mosquitto; eWelink smart home; tailscale/tailscale have been installed normally.
Hello, thank you for providing the video and the detailed description. We have received your feedback regarding the issue that the Node-RED addāon cannot be installed from Docker Hub.
To help our technical team pinpoint the cause more accurately, please assist us with the following:
Provide the iHost system logs: go to the iHost local web page (http://ihost.local), navigate to Settings ā System Log, click Download Log, and send us the complete log file (if the file is large, you can upload it to a cloud drive and share the link with us).
Restart the gateway and switch networks: we suggest that you restart iHost first, then try switching to a different network environment. After that, attempt to install the Node-RED addāon again and observe whether the issue still persists.
Once we receive your logs and the results of your troubleshooting, we will analyse them promptly and provide you with a solution as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience and cooperation!
Hello, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. To help us accurately identify the issue, we would like to ask for your assistance in providing the following information:
Check scenes and timer settings: Do you have any scene in iHost with a timer or trigger condition set to 4:02? Or do the lights automatically turn on at 4:02 AM every day even though you havenāt configured any relevant scene?
Does this happen daily?: Does this phenomenon occur every day, or only occasionally? Have you experienced a similar situation before?
Device and log information: If convenient, please provide the following:
The brand, model, and device ID of the lights that automatically turn on.
The iHost system logs (you can download them via the local web page at http://ihost.local ā Settings ā System Log ā Download Log).
Regarding firmware downgrade: Currently, iHost does not officially support direct firmware downgrades. The rollback process is complex and may introduce other compatibility issues. Therefore, we strongly recommend identifying the root cause through troubleshooting and fixing it properly to resolve the issue permanently.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We will assist you in troubleshooting as soon as possible!
