Hello, thank you for your detailed feedback.
To help us more accurately locate the issue with NodeāRED failing to update to version 5.0.0, if convenient, could you please record a short video showing the update process? At the same time, please also provide the NodeāRED addāon logs. Once we receive the video and logs, we will analyze them as soon as possible and provide you with a solution. Thank you for your patience and cooperation! (If the files are large, you can upload them to a cloud drive and share the link with us.)
I uploaded the log file to Google Drive and sent the link: feedback 273246
Thanks for your feedback, and we sincerely apologize for the unpleasant experience. We will investigate your issue as soon as possible and will get back to you promptly once we have an update.
I took some screenshots instead of a video clip:
The notification of a new version being available appears from within NODE-RED.
From the i-HOST docker, we try to check if a new version of NODE-RED is available or if a new version notification appears.
Final result when attempting to update from the NODE-RED Docker plugin.
This is the version that remains unupdated on the i-HOST.
And finally, Iāve uploaded the NODE-RED log to Google Drive to share it.
Hello, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. Regarding the NodeāRED upgrade issue, we would like to clarify the following:
Starting from version 5.0.0, the official NodeāRED Docker images no longer support the armv7 (32ābit) architecture. Since iHost is based on the 32ābit ARM architecture (armv7), it is not possible to directly upgrade to NodeāRED 5.0.0 or later versions.
Our technical team is already aware of both the installation and upgrade issues with NodeāRED on iHost and is actively working on a fix. We will notify you as soon as the fix is completed. Thank you for your patience and understanding!
There is the same problem with multiple plugins, now I use CubeOS via docker or VM instead of iHost.
