This release expands eWeLink Smart Home Add-on compatibility and device support, with improvements to Zigbee reliability and automation stability.
Please take a moment to read through the notes before updating to this version.
What’s New
Support syncing eligible air quality monitors to eWeLink CUBE via eWeLink Smart Home Add-on, including:
SONOFF SAWF-07P
SONOFF SAWF-08P
Added support for SONOFF SNZB-04PR2 Door/Window sensor.
Improvements
Added an option to adjust temperature and humidity offsets for SONOFF SNZB-02P to improve the accuracy of readings.
Enhancements for SONOFF TRVZB:
Boost Mode and Temp. Override Mode can now be enabled/disabled from CUBE CAST.
SONOFF SNZB-02LD can now be used as an external sensor for more accurate room temperature and humidity readings.
Optimized Zigbee offline detection logic to identify device disconnections faster and improve control reliability. (Note: Due to their reporting intervals, legacy SNZB-01 / SNZB-02 / SNZB-03 / SNZB-04 sensors are excluded from this optimization.)
Added an option to configure extra travel time for SONOFF MINI-ZBRBS to ensure the blinds fully open and close when using manual calibration.
Added stepping control support for SONOFF MINI-ZB2GS, allowing external switch press actions to cycle through a predefined sequence of relay states, enabling more flexible multi-state control scenarios.
Added a manual calibration option to SONOFF MINI-ZBDIM dimming calibration.
Bug Fixes
Fixed a bug where input capability of Frient IOMZB-110 module was missing in eWeLink CUBE.
Resolved a control issue with Tuya/Moes AM43-0.45/40-ES-EZ curtain motor.
Fixed an issue where Paulmann Gen2 RGB Remote could not be used as a scene trigger.
Corrected an issue where the SONOFF R5 remote did not trigger automations as expected after restoring from a backup.
Fixed an issue where scenes had to be re-enabled after an eWeLink CUBE reboot to run again.
Added stepping control support for SONOFF MINI-ZB2GS, allowing external switch press actions to cycle through a predefined sequence of relay states, enabling more flexible multi-state control scenarios.
Sì ma io non posso aggiungere il MINI ZB2GS al IHOST perché mi dice “NON ANCORA SUPPORTATO”, lo vedo solo tramite Ewelink Smart Home.
Non posso creare nessuna scena locale.
Did the issue identified in ticket 258366 get resolved? I got lots of ‘Failed To Control’ messages for days after the V2.8.1 update. I’m reluctant to update without getting an update and I’ve had no response to any of my message to support on the ticket.
I have a problem after the 2.9.0 update. Basically, the TRVZB valves that I synchronized with Apple Home via iHost cannot be deactivated from Apple Home. I can change the temperature and see the status, but if I set them to “inactive,” they reactivate after a few seconds.
I got Failed to Connect messages for 3-4 days after the last update 2.8.1. The iHost was unusable.
On the V2.8.1 thread, I got the following update but didn’t hear any more.
“Our technical team has identified some issues during the configuration phase through the logs. They are now trying to find the root cause of the problem, which may take some time. Thank you for your understanding.”
