Hello,
I received the new iHost (after-sales service. As a reminder, the iHost had crashed on its own.)
On the new one, there were no problems updating to 2.4.3. But the âBackupâ box is still grayed out on the PanelCast configuration page.
I think itâs an HTTP encoding issue, a procedure thatâs not allowed by browsers or is blocked. It worked with versions prior to 2.4.2.
You did not enter the cast name at the top of the window and therefore there is no save option.
We also failed to reproduce your issue.
From the gif, it appreantly didnât success in saving the panel but we also fail to see the error because the panel was closed manually.
Can you reproduce the problem and wait for few more seconed see if any error message pop up?
If not, please send us the system logs via message or feedback.
And we noticed you mentioned some problem above.
Can you specify the problem and see if we can fix or optimize it for you.
Hi,
On the 17th of March at around 10am (GMT 0), most of my Zigbee devices went offline at the same time.
I tried to send the log, but didnât work:
Feedback ID: 232055
iHost 4Gb
Firmware: 2.4.3
Rebooting the iHost seems to bring them back online, but I need to know the reason, because itâs not good to have all sensors offline (some of them are for security purpose, like door sensor and presence sensor).
@eaglelady Iâll have my colleague to handle the issue.
Please send the system log via message to her and our team will follow it through.
Hi, I have received the ticket.
Kindly check your mail.

If I press save and wait up to 4 minutes, no screen appears.
If I try to do the same things on a new cast created with this latest version of the operating system, the devices update perfectly, as you can see in the picture.
Hi,
Can you please share the log with me? You can submit feedback in the settings to upload or send to me privately.
All POWR320D or POWR316D devices, only update once every few minutes (randomly 3-10 minutes). If I open the ewelink app on my mobile phone, either on mobile data or wifi(LAN), then the POWR3XXD update works correctly every second and continues to work for a few minutes after I close the ewelink app on my mobile, after which the update times return to 3-10 minutes. This has been happening since version 2.5.0. Currently I have version 2.5.1 on iHost and 2.5.4 eWeLink Smart Home module in docker.
It seems strange to me that there is no official topic âăRelease NoteăeWeLink CUBE V2.5.1 Updateâ, and the possibility of installing Home Assistant⌠seems like an abandonment of the projectâŚ
Can you provide the eWeLink device id of the devices?
And recreate the situation, mark the time and send us the smart-home add-on log.
I would like to ask for updated information on this topic.
Iâve sent all video and logs and idâs with feedback option in ihost, ticket with ID233881.
Another problem with ihost logs, the tar âarchiveâ have zero compresion! why? my logs have 57M and can not be uploaded, Iâve redone the archive with rar to 6.7M. please fix tar compresion too in next version ⌠simple task ![]()
Hi @SuiKa
Is this thread dead? Itâs still saying [Release note] eWeLink CUBE V2.4.3 Update, but we are at V2.5.1
Not only is there an issue with POW, but temperature sensor data also has a multi-hour update delay.
There is a comparable sensor in the same spot, which is connected to Home Assistant

Open ewelink app on the phone. Watch the temp refesh on iHost with the app open⌠I bet it works fineâŚ
Close the app, and temp refresh will stop workingâŚ
Weâll continue to maintain this thread but wonât be me.
Please wait for my colleague to work on it.
Weâve pinpoint the problem.
But might take some time to fix.
Weâll fix it and bring in the release ASAP.
I know the problem.
Sonoff and eWeLink know the problem.
As for now you have 2 options
1 - run Android app 24/7 to keep data flow every minute. But if doing that on Android Phone or Tabled you need to optimise energy management to keep the app working and prevent the system to turn the app off. So it is better to use Android TV for that. Then you will have sideload eWeLink app but power management is less aggressive on Android TV and it will be easier to keep app running 24/7
2 - turn off internet access but keep router working - this will keep data being updated every few seconds
âŚor wait until Sonoff and eWeLink team will solve the problem.
It seems that eWeLink Smart Home version 2.5.5 has fixed the issue with POWR updates. Now it remains to be seen what else was broken ![]()
Yes it is fixing the communication between Sonoff WiFi devices and iHost.
No need for Android app to run 24/7 to keep data flow in real time.
But the problem still exist for NSPanel Pro. Without Android app running the panel will not show real time temperatures.
