Hey there!
Does anyone is having issues with the Dual R3 power metering?
I noticed this week that my pellet stove was not turning off as supposed to.
I have sonoff integration with HAss and a automation that when the pellet stove power falls below 5W, the DUAL R3 channel should turn OFF.
And its not doing it!
I then noticed that all other DUAL R3 are also not reporting to HAss correctly.
After some troubleshooting I found that only when the eWeLink app is open and displaying the consumption of a specific DUAL R3 (which shows the correct value btw), is when HAss also gets updated.
Already tried to reload HAss integration, logout and login on the app. No improvement.
In terms of setup I have:
- iHost running HAss (docker) and was never an issue
- all devices correctly synched
- devices also present in eWeLink web interface but without any automations/scenes
- proper network coverage
I believe that is something related with the eWeLink app not updating correctly the information when idle/background. Because like I mentioned above, when only a specific device is being displayed, the app is updated and therefore, Hass too.
Does anyone is experiencing the same?
Thanks!
