We’ve received reports from some users that the SNZB-02B (AirGuard TH Lite) may occasionally consume more power than expected when running older firmware versions, causing the battery to drain faster than normal.
To address this issue, we’ve released firmware version 1.0.7, which fixes the abnormal power consumption issue. If your SNZB-02B is still running an older firmware version, we recommend updating it to v1.0.7 to improve battery performance.
Update Instructions by Platform
1. Update via the eWeLink App
Open the eWeLink app, go to your SNZB-02B device settings, check the current firmware version, and follow the in-app instructions to update.
2. Update via Home Assistant
Firmware v1.0.7 is now available in the official Zigbee2MQTT and ZHA OTA firmware repositories. You can access the firmware and perform the update directly through Home Assistant using your respective Zigbee platform.
