Everytime I try to update my thermostats it fails. I have tried mobile and also ewelink web.
I have 1.0.9 and trying to update to 2.2.0.

After placing the sensor next to nspanel pro, the update started after 5 minutes. And it took a very long time.
Update completed successfully.

I have the same problem too.
In iHost it says that 1.0.9 is the last firmware version!
Even after updating to 2.2.0 when connected to ihost. ihost still says version 1.9.0 is up to date.
I join the question. I have the same question, the update is being done the other day. And it’s still not finished.I have the receiver close to the Bridge and I can’t even see the update percentage.Is there a way to reset it? Or do I have to remove and re-pair the Sonoff SNZB-02D?
I removed the battery and put it back, the update was done.

Placing the sensor near my Zbridge Pro worked for me. I had three failed updates before!

When I removed the battery from the Sonoff SNZB-02D, the update did not start. Then I deleted the data from the application and was able to update again. The update was successful.
Thank you for the advice. Together we did it. 
Edit:
On the back of Sonoff SNZB-02D, just press the button gently and the update will be done. It may throw an error that the update failed. Then update the firmware again and press the button on the back of Sonoff SNZB-02D and the update will be done.

Thanks for the suggestion, moving the SNZB-02D close to the ZB Bridge helped to update the firmware of the SNZB-02D from 1.0.9 to 2.2.0. It takes a while (>20 Min) and it drains the battery as said by others in this forum.
Hello, I still not solved this update problem and I successfully updated only 1 SNZB-02D on 5… the others always fails… I tried also to put them close to the bridge but it doesn’t work. I took out the battery and turn them on again… no success…
