How do I upgrade SNZB-02D Firmware

Please advise what I need to do to upgrade the firmware in a SNZB-02D (currently 1.0.9)Temp/Hum display. I have an iHost (CUBE Version 2.4.1) but when I click “Check for Updates” it reports that I am on the current version.

Good morning

As before the trvzb, the SNZB-02D does not update from ihost.

When it is paired on a U bridge, it accepts the update to firmware 2.2.0.
But as soon as we put it back on ihost it reverts to version 1.0.9

When will the new version with the correction be released?

Thank you for your response Patrice. So is this (yet another) iHost issue?

CUBE Version 2.4.1 fixed the TRVZB issue. You can update the firmware and see the correct version after an update. The SNZB-02D has a similar, if not the same, issue. The iHost says 1.0.9 is the latest firmware. I can’t even update the firmware on the ewelink app if the SNZB-02D is connected to a ZBridge-P. There’s no firmware update showing on the app.

The OTA solution of iHost is different from Zigbee-U and Zigbee-P because it doesn’t connect to cloud.
It can’t detect new firmware is due to the 2.2.0 firmware is missing from our github registry.
We’ll urge the firmware developer to upload the firmware ASAP.

Aqara T1 MCCGQ11LM zigbee light sensor is in this database on github, and ihost does not see this update anyway.

I see…
We’ll check it for you.

hello

in the description of version 2.4.1 it is indicated Added offset options for SNZB-02D temperature and humidity readings. But zero by it is indicating that on ultra or p.

What do you mean by “But zero by it is indicating that on ultra or p.”?
The offset options for temperature and humidity reading is not supported in you ultra or p?

What’s current firmware version of your Aqara T1 MCCGQ11LM zigbee light sensor?

I don’t remember what version I have. If you add advice, you can check it in the logs.

I just wanted to say that in the description of firmware 2.4.1 it is not indicated that the snzb-02d must be associated with a bridge.

So we think that we have the function directly on the ihost.

Unfortunately the ihost does not want to update the firmware of the snzb-02 as previously with the problem of the trzb which is now resolved.

Looking forward to the new version of ihost

The SNZB-02D update is a real pain in the %#$#%. Most devices go better or worse, but the temperature and humidity sensor is some kind of drama. Finally the other day I got stubborn and took to updating 8 sensors. The only option with me was to update them individually and not all together. I had to put each sensor directly on the zigbee gate or in close proximity to the gate. Any attempts to update via iHost or eWeLink Web did not work. The temperature sensors updated only when I did the update via the iPhone app. Only two sensors updated on the first attempt. The other 6 sensors I had to update several times each before the app reported success of the procedure. A correct update took 20-30 minutes!!! 8 sensors combined I updated… 3 days. This is some kind of joke.

One of iHost’s part is a zigbee bridge.
So SNZB-02D connect to it can receive firmware update.
The problem for now is the repository iHost connect with doesn’t contain the newest frimware of SNZB-02D which cause the failure to detect any new firmware.
As I mentioned before, that will be fixed.

We’re very sorry about the inconvenience we caused.
The failed upgrade in iHost should be a problem of firmware repositry, not iHost itself.
We’ll urge the firmware developer to upload it ASAP.

And by you failed to upgrade it in eWeLink Web, can you tell us what gateway are you using with SNZB-02P that caused the failure of upgrade?

With SNZB-02D not “with SNZB-02P”. I have two ZB Bridge-P with firmware 2.3.0 one with 6 devices connected (4 SNZB-02D) the other with 12 (4 SNZB-02D).

Sorry about the typo.
So -p can detect the upgrade and iHost not.
