NSPanel Pro v4.3.0 Officially Released: New Features & Enhancements

Hello, I don’t see the update on my NSPanel pros. Is it being rolled out gradually?

NSPP was off-line, so I was not able to control it at all.

In the mean time, it went online again, so I was able to start heating. But this is not the first case, it started after last update.

Will be on site today evening. But see attached log from temp sensor connected via NSPP.

I have an idea what if you made a watchdog. And in case of a device failure, it would restart itself.

Hi, you’ve downloaded and configured Alarmo, but when Alarmo is disarmed, the NSPanel Pro still shows as armed? This cannot be controlled by the NSPanel Pro because the conditions configured in Alarmo are based on trigger sensors and do not include the arming status of the NSPanel Pro itself.

May I ask what is the current version of your device?
Version 4.1.5 is the full public release, while 4.3.0 is a beta version. If you would like to join the beta program, you can use the beta tool to apply for the latest version at:
https://panel.sonoff.tech/nspanel-pro/beta-test/#/login

Additionally, version 4.3.2 is currently being deployed only to a limited group of users. If you would like version 4.3.2, you can send me your device ID separately.

I apologize for the inconvenience. You can submit the logs from your NSPanel Pro tonight, and I will work on identifying the issue ASAP

Are you referring to adjusting the temperature control accuracy of the thermostat affecting the automatic schedule? Are you using central heating?

Yes! I am using the built-in thermostat function of the NSPP. The two thermostat control two dry-contatct, zigbee relay, witch switch on-off two circulating pumps. One pump provide heat for the ground floor and the other for the first floor. The heat source is provided by an air/water heat pump with a buffer tank, but it has its own control.

When I adjusted the themperature control accuracy, one of the built-in thermostat’s shedules (first floor) were completely messed up. I usually have 6 schedules and this caused the on-off cycle whenever the thermostat tried to switch the zigbee relay.

Interestingly with the other built-in thermostat was no such issue. After adjusting the themperature control accuracy, the shedules remained as before.

There are two thermostats in NSPP, one classic and the other called central heating. This one is for you.

I am using the classic built-in thermostat function.

I have tried out the new central heating screen, but I can not add the zigbee relays (dosen’t show up at the available devices).

This is a non-state solution that thus loses its purpose.

What Zigbee relay do you use for dry contacts?

It is a third-party product: Girier Tuya Smart Zigbee Dry-Contact Switch Module.

I wanted a SONOFF product, but I could not find a Dry-Contact relay with zigbee connection.

With:

important not impulse or memory relays.

Thank you for the links, but the relays working fine with the NSPP.

I know the MINI-D relay, but it is no zigbee but wifi.

I specifically wanted the zigbee connection. In case my router or the internet is down the heating of the house must go on! At least on the ground floor… because there are only radiators there. However on the first floor are 3 fan-coils with MINI-D relays each. So I have to created a smart scene: if the zigbee relay(which controls the first floor circulating pump) turns on or off, than do the same the 3 MINI-D. That’s why I really hope that someday the built-in thermostat will be able to control multiple actuators.

So write down what problem you have and what solution you imagine.

Sorry. I already did it:

“When I adjusted the themperature control accuracy, one of the built-in thermostat’s shedules (first floor) were completely messed up. I usually have 6 schedules and this caused the on-off cycle whenever the thermostat tried to switch the zigbee relay.”

However right now everything are working perfect, because I have setup the shedules AFTER the temperature accuracy settings messed them up. I do not want to regularly adjust the accuracy settings (right now is at 0,3 C), so it is not a big problem. I still hope later on it will be solved.

As a future improvment: It would be great, if the built-in thermostat function of the NSPP can control multiple (4-5) actuators. In this case I shoud not need the smart scene anymore: the thermostat could turn ON/OFF the relay for the circulation pump and the 3 MINI-D relays for the fan-coils also.

I already did it.
