Is the update issue solved? We have just released v4.0.12 firmware. If you check the update through Settings -> About -> System Update on your NSPanel Pro, you should be able to download and install the latest firmware.

Please let me know if you met any issue.

Unfortunately on my device still 3.12.0, When I press software update, checked pops up and that’s it.

Good moorning Michael,

unlikely I don’t have good news. Any time I try to upgrade my panel installation is aborted and doesn’t go over 3.9.4 Version for OS and 3.12.0 for App Version.

It’s seem to be some error on /cache/recovery/block.map file that block the installation of the upgrades.

So i decided to send back the panel to my seller.

hi, it doesn’t offer me an update to 4.0.12 on my nspanel pro120, but I already have 4.0.12 installed on my nspanel pro80.

Updated to new version all okay, when I open F-droid there is an update available, should I update? Cheers Luke

Same issue here. Solves by restarting, unplugging from power outlet, … finaly it installed OK.

But termostat is still a mess. Does not operate actuator correctly. It stops heating, but does not turn actuator (TH Origin) off. Once disabled, does not turn heating off.

Hi, it seems your NSPanel Pro has lots of stuff in it, so the internal flash memory is not enough for a new update. v4.0.12 firmware is indeed much bigger than previous version.

Did you install many Apps or are you just using NSPanel Pro App? Currently I could think of 3 possible solutions:

  1. Remove some of these Apps to get more free flash memory space.
  2. Install File Manager App to manually delete unnecessary files. You could use Fossify File Manager, Amaze File Manager, or Material Files.
  3. Do a factory reset to clear all user data.

We are also working on other better solutions now.

I don’t have any apps installed. I solved the problem by choosing method 3. I performed a factory reset. Now the update to version 4.0.12 was successful.

Since some time (I didn’t check firmware version) the RTSP cameras which i could launch on nspanel are not recognized anymore.

Am I the only one to have this problem ?
