Hi, thanks!!! With your advice, the TRVZB is working properly again. Will I have to manually change the time zone every time I change, or was it just a glitch that shouldn’t happen again?
I also have a question: is the support requested on Ewelink still working? Because lately, everything I’ve reported hasn’t been addressed. Thanks.
The time zone bug will be fixed. Support is also available in the eWeLink app, but they may be handling a high volume of requests at the moment (I have already sent your account details to the relevant colleague, and they will prioritize getting back to you). Thank you for your patience and understanding.
thank you for everything you’ve done!
Hi, yesterday I updated an NSPANEL PRO 120 to version 4.5.2, and a disaster struck that makes me seriously question the choices I made for managing my devices. I had 24 devices connected, and after the update, only 2 were found.
The problem is that to reconnect the devices, I had to open junction boxes and move furniture, and I must say, it’s quite cumbersome. Every time I update NSPANEL, there’s always a surprise, and it’s certainly not a pleasant one. Furthermore, a light bulb that supports color and intensity management (eWeLink compatible) and that I’ve been using for over a year without any problems, as soon as I reconnected it, it was seen as a simple switch. Please explain what happened and how I can prevent this from happening again. Also, please tell me how I can restore the bulb’s original functionality, allowing me to manage the colors and intensity of the light. Thank you
the nspanel id is 100243ad14 and the bulb has id a480106fc1
Hi, I’m sorry you’re experiencing this issue. I have received the logs from your device and am currently investigating the problem.
By the way, just to clarify, do you mean that the connected Zigbee devices has been lost?
Yes, exactly! All devices were lost… I even tried restarting the nspanel pro a couple of times, but unfortunately, nothing was recovered. Plus, the light bulb problem I described. Thanks for your help.
I like NSPP, but the scenes behave completely differently than you would expect.
This thing worries me a lot. I had reached a balance with version 4.3 and the central heating. I don’t want to sink back into a situation where nothing works anymore. Perhaps I made a mistake in starting a change by trying to convert everything to Zigbee and having it all managed by NSPANEL PRO and ZBBridge-Ultra.
NSPP still has a long way to go to be stable. I am currently testing full control via NSPP, but normally I leave control to CubeOS.
Can you run CubeOS on iHost? It’s a world I’m unfamiliar with, and I’m greatly limited in going down this path by the fact that, as far as I know, it’s not possible to share devices. Can you confirm this limitation?
Hi, We have identified the cause of this issue. It was a bug in version 4.5.1. After checking the logs, I can confirm that your device also lost connection while running version 4.5.1. This issue has already been fixed in version 4.5.2, so you should not encounter it again. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused.
As for the bulb issue, I am still investigating it and will update you as soon as I have more information.
iHost uses CubeOS, I have CubeOS in a virtual machine and with NSPP you can import devices into CubeOS nicely. Using the ewelink Smarthome addon.
Thanks for your support! I’ll have to be more cautious in the future about updating all apps unless I’m certain I’ll encounter issues like these. My suggestion is that if you’re aware of these issues, you can address them with new releases that will prevent those who haven’t updated from encountering these issues. You’ll understand that with so many devices and so many scenes, it can be complex and time-consuming to reconstruct the situation before updating.
I look forward to hearing from you regarding the solution to the light bulb, which is very important to me because I purchased it specifically for its ability to adjust the color and intensity of the light.
Really interesting, do you know if there’s a tutorial or something I can read to understand how to make it work?
Hi, We have identified the issue and confirmed that it is an intermittent bug.
For now, could you please try removing and re-adding the bulb, then check whether the mapping is correct? We expect to release a dedicated fix for this issue by next Wednesday. Thank you in advance for your understanding and patience.
Best regards.
Hi, thanks! I’ll test it this evening and update you. Please let me know when the update is released, confirming that a further update isn’t causing the problem I’m having.
I’d like to take advantage of your expertise and availability to ask if you have any way to investigate a problem I reported with ticket 265299, which has never been resolved.
Thanks again.
Hi, I can confirm that after disconnecting and reconnecting the bulb, it now works and is recognized for what it really is. Thank you!
Please let me know if the issue I submitted in the ticket is within your scope or not.
Thanks again for your support.
Hi, Sorry, this issue is not under my responsibility. I’ll reach out to the relevant person and get back to you as soon as I have an update.
Hi,
I wanted to turn on the cooling with the NSPP thermostat. There are only two schedules. One for the weekdays, another for the weekend. As soon as I activated the thermostat, it started to switch on-off the actuator. I had to delete the shedules and readd them again. Now the shedule was over and it turned off as it should be. However I decided to run the cooling a bit and swiched the thermostat to manual. Nothing was happend. The set temperature is 24 Celsius and the room temperature was 26.6 Celsius. I had to manualy turn on the actuator.
I am very disappointed, that the basic thermostat functions of the NSPP are not working…
