NS Panel Pro Thermostat problems

My heating is in emergency mode, electricity consumption is unnecessarily high.

Completely agreed, I love to be part of this, but in this case I need to be more cautious than before

@Milk I can happily confirm that the disconnect/Zigbee issues have been fixed with v4.3.2. At least, I haven’t got any ‘gaps’ in reporting data in the last 14 hours after updating.

That said, the issues I reported above (NS Panel Pro Thermostat problems - #228 by demonizator) still persist:

  • Ghost purifier device in Thermostat screen
  • Thermostat screen auto-enabled after restart
  • TRVZB go to boost mode after restart (only one of total of two TRVZB in my case)
  • TRVZB show wrong status (and sometimes target temperature) in eWeLink app

Üdv! Megoldódott már a probléma azóta? Ezzel küszködök én is! Köszi

I apologize for the delay. I will review the logs as soon as possible and get back to you with a reply.

All my zigbee lost connection. I almost kill all my fish!!
Please send me 4.3.2

Be careful… One of my TRVZBs went to boost mode after update/restart. So you might boil them. :frowning: Not sure if problem is TRVZB relater only or can cause problems with other actuators also.

I’m sorry for the confusion we caused. In version 4.3.0, the TRV has been placed in the thermostat list and can be switched along with the thermostat, so this device is your TRV.Regarding the issue of the thermostat split screen still appearing after a reboot, this is a known problem, and we will fix it as soon as possible.

Is the status displayed on the NSPanel Pro normal at this time?
If only the ewelink app is displaying abnormally, please submit the ewelink app logs after the issue occurs.

I apologize for this issue. We have identified the cause and are currently working on a solution. In the meantime, you can send me your device ID. Once the issue is resolved, I will prioritize directing the new version to your device.

Ver 4.3.2

I apologize for the confusion this issue has caused. In fact, for security reasons, the receiving end does not support modifying thermostat data (the changes will not actually take effect). However, since there is no error prompt on that page, it led to confusion about the operation.

Aile üyeleri de değiştire bilse aslında daha iyi olurdu.

All right, we will collect this suggestion and consider launching a better sharing solution.

I can’t provide a new screenshot right now, but I already have my two TRVZBs in the dropdown of the Thermostat screen. Then, there’s a third one - it says Air Purifier (“Пречиствател” in Bulgarian) that doesn’t have the properties of any of my two TRVZBs, it’s set to Cooling (“Охлаждане”) and doesn’t control or trigger any of my devices.

Yes, it’s the app that normally shows wrong status and data, I have sent a feedback via the app.

Some of the thermostats are malfunctioning (they apparently do not switch ON the heating switch even if they are supposed to do so).

In the logs I found out that the issue is caused by some mysterious trigger called “Time of Day Scene-condition” on the heating switch itself (see in the picture attached). The heating switch (BASICR2 - 100180c166) is not included in any other automation in eWeLink except for the thermostat on one particular NSPanel Pro. Yet, the switch is turned on by the thermostat when the temperature drops abut immediately turned off by this mysterious trigger.

On the other 2 screenshots you can see how the thermostat is set up and that it is not heating up the room even if the temperature is 0.9°C below the target temperature (with the accuracy set to +/- 0.1°C).

Please help how to solve this.

The thermostat is very unreliable for nspp. This is probably difficult for a forum member to fix. That’s more for the developer.

OK, since the original thermostat is after many years still very unreliable I’m playing with the new one (central heating/thermostat) added recently. I have one question, why cannot I select any WiFi switch as a valve actuator? I don’t use Zigbee switches for the valves.

In my opinion, the logical reason is that if the wifi network fails, it will not be possible to turn on the heating. And Zigbee is independent of the wifi network.

Sonoff lacks a zigbee relay for dry contacts.

OK, so it will nevere work for me at all and I will have to revert back to using the Thermo plugin in eWeLink on Cloud which is of course not only local WiFi dependent but also internet connection dependent. :frowning: What a shame…

I’m not sure how it works for others, but my WiFi (UniFi) is by miles more stable than any Zigbee device or Zigbee network in my house.

Which Zigbee switches are then recommended to put on the UFH valves instead of BASICR2? Is it only the ZBMINIR2?

Wait a few hours, I’ll send you instructions on how I do it. Then decide accordingly.
