Having the random offline issues with M5 matter version, can you help with pushing new firmware? EWeLink continues to work but matter in HomeKit seems broken. My installation is roughly 50 devices - happy to provide Ids via PM to test new releases.

Do I understand correctly that there are issues with the HomeKit integration of the M5 matter switch? I just bought one, and I spent days trying to pairing it to the HomeKit, investing quite a few hours and I simply couldnāt figure out why itās unable to work with it. I was just about to return it to the distributor. Is it possible that a future software update will fix this? Will there even be such an update? If yes, when exactly?

There are only occasional issues with connections after setup, not during setup.
To add M5M switches, you can treat them as HomeKit devices: power them on and scan the code using an iPhone.
If you need extra features, you must pair them with the eWeLink app first and then share them with Apple Home via Matter locally.
The beta firmware could fix this, if you want to enroll, please DM your device ID. You can find the info in the deviceās settings page in the eWeLink app.

Unfortunately, the update didnāt solve the problem; nothing has changed. After connecting it to HomeKit, I can turn it on and off as many times as I want. However, after one minute, it loses the signal, and from that point on, it just says āno connection.ā
Please make a full reset of the device. And remove the device from all platforms. For Apple, go to Settings > General > Matter accessory, select the device, and remove it from all services.
After following these steps, try setting it up again with the eWeLink app and share it with HomeKit by generating a QR code.
I tried, but unfortunately, the same thing keeps happening. It works perfectly in the Ewelink app. After adding it to HomeKit, it works flawlessly for 60 seconds, then it goes permanently offline.
Sorry for the trouble. Please contact SONOFF on this issue, and do mention which firmware version you are on and what Apple Home Hub you are using.

Good news, everything has been working like a dream for the past three days. Only one change has been made since then, so I think this might be the solution. I had already turned off the Wi-Fi on my old router some time ago, but I connected the new router to it via cable because the old device also serves as a modem, so I canāt leave it out of the setup. The old device wasnāt switched to bridge mode and continues functioning as a router. However, I noticed that my Matter hubāApple TVāwas still connected to the old router instead of the new one; I somehow forgot to switch it over. This shouldnāt be an issue, since the two routers are on the same network, and all my Matter and other smart devices have been working stably. But as soon as I moved the Apple TV to the new router, everything started working perfectly.

Recently I updated them to firmware version 1.2.0.
Since that moment they very regularly show as ānot respondingā in the Home app on my iPhone.
I tried many things, but canāt solve the problemā¦
Any ideas, anyone?
