Has anyone managed to upgrade the firmware on a TRVZB using the iHost V2.1 update capability? I can see the firmware uploading for 30mins but it doesn’t update the TRV.
I’ve managed to update a SNZB-06P successfully.

uploading?
Is that means that you’re already updating the TRV?
I tried with two difference TRVs both on version 1.1.1
They both said ‘New version 4357 is available’. I confirm the update. The progress bar goes from 0-100% (takes 30mins) then the window closes. When I re-open the settings window it says ‘New version 4357 is available’ so I assume the update failed.

Exactly the same problem with iHost trying to update TRVZBs firmware since the update to cube ver 2.1.0, all of my TRVZBs have firmware ver 1.1.1 but 2 of mine do show as it being the latest version. I also get the 4357 available message on some wi-fi devices and iHost is now showing as permanently off-line in the eWeLink App, Have raised a ticket via the iHost feedback option. Despite these issues the iHost is functioning as it was before the update. Strangely though I have an IKEA Tradfri Control Outlet (Zigbee 2) and it updated the firmware for it without any problems.
It may take a while before the device reports the new firmware version number.
You can also remove it and pair it with iHost to check if the firmware update has succeeded.
Please check this, and let us know if that’s the case.
IKEA Plug is main-powered it talks more compared with sleepy battery-powered devices.
My TRVZBs that say they are running the latest firmware are still showing v 1.1.1. Im reluctant to remove the TRVZBs and try re-pairing because: the valves will need to be physically removed from the radiators and taken close to the iHost and I understand that scenes that relate to the device will be deleted. This is not a good situation as I am not aware of any way to back up iHost scenes.
The TRVZB firmware update is problematic and should be resolved with the next firmware release. Something is clearly not going as intended. It is virtually impossible to perform the update from eWeLink Web. It is interesting that from the app it happens without hindrance. Furthermore, there is no place where eWeLink publishes up-to-date (!!!) information about all available updates. Now it happens with a delay and is scattered somewhere or other. This is a lack of consistency and coherence. This is not how it should be.
I eventually managed to update all of my TRVZBs firmware using iHost, but a real pain in the backside and involved doing various illogical things and re-booting iHost for each valve update. All TRVZBs are showing as having the latest firmware but some showing ver 1.1.1 and others showing ver 1.1.5- Sonoff are aware of this bug and say it will be resolved in the next update.
Also it is intentional that iHost now shows as permanently off line in the eWeLink App and as it will always do so I followed Sonoff’s advice and deleted the device from the eWeLink app.
Had this been included in the documentation for the iHost’s eWeLink Cube update it could have prevented wasted time.
The two TRVZBs that I upgraded had taken the firmware update, it just wasn’t reflected on the iHost. When I deleted and re-paired those two they both now show as 1.1.5 devices, with a little TRV icon on iHost. I do most automation in NodeRed which seems to preserve the settings for the two devices. I do have one smart scene which I had to re-add them too. I have 17 more to do so will likely wait for the fix.
