Hello, I just updated iHost to 2.4.0 version, because I was really looking forward to possibility to use external temperature sensor with my TRVZBs, but unfortunately nothing has changed, I still don’t see possibility to add SNZB-02D as an external sensor (there are no such field or I didn’t find it). TRVZBs firmware version is 1.1.5 and checking for updates says that this is latest firmware version. Very looking forward for this missing and really cool feature.
Hey have you tried to remove and add the TRV to iHost? It usually clears the trouble after new upgrade and features adding to specific devices.
If you don’t want to lose schedule, let me check with the dev team during working hours and see what could cause this.
First, thanks for a very quick reply and yes, I’ve tried to re-add a pair of TRVs and did factory reset on them, didn’t help. My assumption that this is related to a 1.1.5 firmware version of TRVs, because according to 【TRVZB】Firmware Changelog this feature was added in version 1.2.1, but I’m wondering why I can’t update firmware version for TRVs.
Yes, TRVZB must meet firmware requirement too.
Let me get back to you tomorrow during working hours. The team’s clock off.
I too am stuck on 1.1.5 despite checking for updates. Would prefer not to unpair/repair because it requires a lot of running upstairs and they need a valve or they error so can’t remove. I tried.
There is a problem with OTA update of devices. For ZBMINIR2 Ihost also does not show the update. When I connect zbminiR2 to nspanel pro, the update is displayed.
The team is investigating this issue.
I have one on the desk and can pull the latest update of trvzb. So there must be something wrong in certain conditions.
Is the team investigating the ZBMINIR2 issue as well? It has been something like 5~6 weeks since the update was clumsy implemented and, despite repeatedly promised corrective action, nothing has happened. Silence. Zero. Null. Are any news in the internal communication channel coming from Sonoff? Don’t you think the situation is deeply embarrassing for Sonoff? Because it should be.
I specifically refer to the CUBE team on this topic.
As of your issue, I’m checking with SONOFF for any response/update. Sorry for the troublesome.
We will release a new firmware update soon, expected next week.
Thanks. We’ll see -)
I have updated firmware from the iHost before. I had to repair the TRV. Don’t want to go through that again as the TRV is not near the iHost and we can’t pair the TRV without being on a radiator.
Are you updating from the iHost with routers in the way? I doubt my TRV are directly connected to the controller iHost. There are routers nearer them. If it isn’t the iHost it’s probably the routers on the way as mine says 1.1.5 is the latest.
I’ve been trying with TRVs connected directly to iHost, without any routers, no difference, still says that 1.1.5 is the latest.
I have the same issue. Stuck on 1.1.5 and the iHost says it’s the latest version.
Hey all @here
Sorry for the inconvenience, the dev team is collecting more info to better resolve the issue.
If possible would you mind downloading the system logs and share with us? If the file is too large, you can use google drive or dropbox and share it via links.
Thx in advance!
Hey, sure, here is the link with system log from my iHost: 1733301999763.tar.gz - Google Drive
Last log I sent was huge. Is there a way to cutdown on the size?
You can send me via cloud drivers. It’s already compressed I think

Hey,
There could be an issue when your device pulling firmware information.
Could you visit this link to a json file and send it back to us for a look?
