Hello
I am new to smart devices and my question may be wrong. Is it possible to connect all Minir4m relays (more than 15 pieces) to 1 hub and connect this hub to ewelink?
For example, like with Zigbee devices. They are all connected to the Sonoff ZigBee Bridge Pro hub, and if the WiFi settings change, I only need to reconnect the hub, and all Zigbee devices will work again.
The problem with minir4m is that after changing the WiFi parameters (and forgot to remove all relays from ewelink before that), to reconnect the relay you need to physically press the restart button on it. Many relays are located behind the wall in hard-to-reach places and reconnecting becomes a whole problem.
Actually, you don’t need a hub to use them just with eWeLink. Set them up like other Wi-Fi-based SONOFF devices.
However, if you want to use them on other platforms via Matter, you will need corresponding hubs for instance HomePod/Apple TV for Apple or Nest Hub for Google
I understand that I can connect directly to ewelink, but I want to solve problem with reconnection. Access to releys is big problem, because they are located behind the wall in hard-to-reach places.
There’s no other way to do it. No pain, no gain
