ewelink web incorrectly displays device statuses, and when I try to interact with any device, it returns an error message saying “error, please try again”. This has been going on for at least 3 days. With the app, I can see the correct status of the devices and interact with them correctly.
eWeLink Web is… well, exactly what it is. Some features work, some politely decline, and others just ghost you entirely. Yes, there’s progress, but it’s the kind that arrives fashionably late and forgets half its luggage.
Among the many vintage quirks, firmware updates deserve a special mention: they exist in theory, not in practice. And the cherry on top? Full functionality is locked behind a paywall. Because nothing says “premium experience” like paying to watch things half-work ![]()
At this point, every sensible argument has already been aired, dissected, and quietly buried on this forum. It’s not that the devs don’t care. They just seem to be running on a strict diet of limited time and resources. So adapt, cope and wait a bit longer ![]()
