I’ve been using eWeLink Web for over two years, and not once - not once! - did a firmware update ever make it to the finish line. Updates would show up, tease me with their presence, and then promptly crash and burn the moment I dared to click “Update.”
But today… something changed. eWeLink Web proudly announced a new firmware for my M5-1C-86W. Naturally, I opened the mobile app first, no point wasting time on another Web-based disappointment, right? Surprise! The app showed na update. Nothing. Nada. Null. Nic. Niente.
So, against all logic and past trauma, I gave eWeLink Web one last chance. I hit update. From 1.1.0 to 1.2.0. And guess what? It worked. Instantly. Smoothly. No drama. No error codes. Just pure, unfiltered success.
The app even showed the new firmware version correctly afterward. I’m still in shock. Wonders do happen, apparently. And today, eWeLink Web decided to be the hero.
