eWeLink app falsely says phone not connected to WiFi

I have had problems with Sonoff switches and temperature sensors disconnecting from WiFi. When I try to reconnect using ‘add device’, the app tells me the phone is not connected to WiFi when it is. And yes, it is a 2.4GHz only WiFi network. GPS is enabled.

How do I get past this?

can you just let us put in the data manually if your app can’t figure out it’s connected to wifi? I had this issue for half a year now and I’m barely next to the switch but everytime I am it’s pissing me off

IS there a solution for this? I have having this exact problem. I bought a new wifi router for my house and I can’t connect my devices to it!!!

I am connected to 2.4G wifi and location is on… iphone 12

My i know the iOS version of your iPhone 12?

And please raise a ticket in the feedback portal of the eWeLink App with logs, let’s us check what happened.

Is their a solution for this? I’m having the exact same issue and it’s completly frustrating as iphone is connected but ewelink refuses to say wifi is connected. I get a pop up message saying ssid cannot be blank, but no way to configure this that I can see inside app.
