Energy estimation feature

Hi,
I have been using the new web energy estimation feature for my Sonoff devices. In the announcements advertising the feature it is stated:
“monitor any device, no exceptions”.

However, I am not able to monitor the following devices, which are not available for selection in the web app:

TX2C - 2 gang light switch
TX3C - 3 gang light switch
L1
SNZB-06P prescence detector
NSPanel
NSPanel86PW (Pro)
NSPanel120PW (Pro - wide)
RFBridge433
ZBBridge-P
ZBBridge-U

Are you able to advise if or when these devices will be supported please?

you listed a device that is either battery-powered or works as a sensor and has minimal consumption. sonoff devices are missing far more smart bulbs mini R4 devices and others that have a big impact on overall consumption, specifically devices that turn on. ewelink team replied to me that devices like mini R4 will be gradually added so far the function agreement is more like an experiment in its infancy

Hi spoustami - Correction:

  1. None of the devices I listed are battery powered.
  2. Some of the unsupported devices are light switches
  3. The release notes appear to be misleading as they imply all devices are supported
    Thanks

Sorry, you’re right. I made a mistake. Yes, they are light switches, but they also have some consumption that is not negligible. They certainly have lights in the household, rather than a zigbee bridge. In any case, a lot of work is still needed on the function. For example, the data on estimates is not shown in the Android app.

For now the Energy Estimation feature is for plug/socket devices, like devices below:

You can connect your home appliance to these plugs/sockets, and estimate the electricity usage of the appliance.
the estimation is to calculate the electricity usage on the line, not the device itself.

I don’t know according to which key the devices were selected, but I have supported devices

  • MiniR2
    -zbmini-l2
    -sonoff basic r2 (and clones)
  • sonoff micro usb wifi (and clones)

Yes, I understand that the internal consumption is not estimated, it is at least negligible for me, but estimating the consumption of lights and light bulbs is important.

Thank you for the feedback, the multiple-channel devices will gradually be supported in future updates.

these are not multi-channel devices after all.

Hi Teki,
Understood. Thanks fo the update.

Hi Teki,
Thank, energy estimation feature is a great idea, looking forward to more supported devices.
