Zigbee problem with FW 4.4.0

Are therecustomer reports about the Zigbee sub-device offline issue? We can provide customers with a dedicated standalone version to verify if the problem has been resolved (or users can provide logs to help us quickly pinpoint the cause). Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

These are different houses, it is unrealistic for me to send log files, I would have to go to each one.

I am on fw 4.3.3 and have problem with ZB subdevices.

I can upgrade fw tomorrow, if needed. (Device ID: 10022022ca)

That’s nice, but time is against you. People won’t wait long and will move on to the competition!?

First of all, thank you for your willingness to cooperate and help. Normally, the Zigbee sub-device offline issue occurred in version 4.4.0. If you are currently on version 4.3.3, please submit the NSPanelPro logs first so we can investigate the cause.

I don’t know if anyone reported a bug in nspp version fw 4.4.0 but it keeps making a sound as if I’m clicking on the screen. However, nothing changes on the screens.

Is it the sound that occurs every time the screen lights up when you approach it? Some users have reported this, and we have already fixed it. The fix will be included in the next release.

If you’d prefer not to hear this sound for now, you can refer to the following setup method. (Settings > Advanced Settings > Sound > Touch Sounds)

If the issue you’re experiencing is different, please let me know the specific details.

My screen keeps lighting up and making that sound.

@Milk: Just started with Zigbee. Can you provide me with this new testversion? My new zigbee sub-device (SNZB-02D) is offine in your ewelink app, however my NSP pro is connected to my HA and both NSPPro and the temperature sensor are available via MQTT in homeassistant. I find this very strange. My device ID: 100250dd36. Thanks clem

Here you can see typical situation - logs from two temperature sensors. One connected via ZBBridgePro, one via NSPP. Also I attach picture of NSPP showing error “app not responding”. Feedback submitted (Device ID: 10022022ca)

I apologize for the late reply. No unresponsiveness was recorded in the logs. How often does this issue occur? If it happens again, please submit the logs promptly.

Additionally, the sub-device offline issue is unrelated to the unresponsiveness. The offline issue is caused by the NSPanelPro disconnecting from the network. Since your device experienced the same issue before, have you tried switching the WiFi network or changing the WiFi channel for the NSPanelPro to see if there is any improvement?

I see the same problems as p.silhan… It is very strange… Wifi is stable…. the issue is described also in my other post in the main thread.

It happens time to time. Most of the time I am not on-site. It recovers itself from “isn responding” error after some time (have no idea how long it takes).

Regarding WiFi - I have changed the configuration to use only TP Link bridge, which covers 2nd floor. It does not use the router in 1st floor anymore. WiFi coverage is far from perfect (I do not have any Cisco swich at home  ), but no other device has any problem with it (WiFi bulb, LED stripe, notebook, iPhone). Expect speed beeing about 10Mbit.

Btw, when ZB devices are off-line, I can still access NSPP itself - so WiFi is working (TPlink-NSPP connection is OK), but ZB is not (NSPP-device over zigbee connection). If I reboot NSPP from eWeLink app, ZB devices (temperature sensors nad TRVZB valves) go online and I can start the heating.

@Milk: also I have the disconnection from HA… MTTQ does not find neither the temp sensor which is connected via zigbee to my NSP nor the NSP exposed to HA. Wifi is good at my place… on the panel itself zigbee seem to have no problem this time as data continued to arrive from the tempsensor. I have sent the logs this morning.

Takže po několika dnech co nefungovalo nic přišla aktualizace, ta nic nevyřešila, pak druhá, ta také nic nevyřešila, pak přišla třetí a zařízení ZB se připojilo. Bohužel přestal fungovat thermo plug in (plány nepřepíná, když nastavím teplotu na hodinu topí i nadále).

Mne hocikedy začal sami kúriť a kúril bez prestania. V miestnosti bolo cez 30 stupňov. Viem programovať a viac krát som ponúkol pomoc, lebo očividne to nefunguje čo majú. Teraz sú aj tak zameraný na riešenie problémov s zb sieťov a tak nikto nebude riešiť chyby čohlásime.

Hi, we are currently working on a solution for the NSPanel Pro’s network to verify the connection issues. Once the verification is successful, I can add your device to the trial.

Are you referring to the TRV not heating or turning off according to the set schedule? Or is it that the scenes you configured are not executing properly? (Based on previous feedback regarding scene issues, we suspect it might be due to the TRV going offline and failing to respond to commands.) If the sub-devices are currently online and functioning normally, please send me the specific issue you’re experiencing, and I will do my best to investigate it.

I’m sorry if I missed your previous feedback. Are you experiencing an issue with the thermostat or a problem with the TRV heating? Could you please provide the specific time the issue occurred along with the logs?

I used a combination of nspp as a thermostat and sonoffzigbee relay. It started heating by itself at any time and did not stop heating until I turned it off. I can no longer provide log files because I let the heating be controlled via iHost.
