Sounds like the classic eWeLink experience: the app loads slower than Windows 98 before a defrag. Four years of waiting? Respect for the patience — most people jumped ship to Home Assistant ages ago 
Lol I know. But I’m a real beginner in tinkering. I just can’t do it. Then I saw home assistant green. And still a Little scary about wasting 120 bucks on it if I don’t have the patience and dealing with yami files lol.
Home Assistant Green isn’t the scary “you must learn YAML” monster people imagine. You plug it in, open a webpage, click a few things — done. YAML is optional, like pineapple on pizza (ew!).
But hey, if you really want to stay in the eWeLink world, grab an iHost from Sonoff. It’s better, faster, and still familiar… though yeah, a tiny bit of tinkering will sneak in anyway. Smart homes are like that — even the “easy” ones nibble at you eventually.
Whatever you choose, at least you won’t be stuck staring at a spinning wheel for half your life.

A while back I post about my trials with the ihost brand new nothing to downloaded on it and my ihost stay 99% red I cut it off turn it back on 99% red somebody gave me some answers to the ihost on here I did what they told me to do cut it back on rebooted it 99 % red so I can’t do nothing with this. Gave up the ihost. Lol all I got left is 2 sonoff pros, the regular sonoff hub. And just got the sonoff zb bridge u 2 weeks ago. So maybe HA green might be. Or I’ll just start using ewe web more. Even that loads up slow but not slow as the app.
