Support for LED Strips to iHost Matter Bridge

Hello Sonoff/eWeLink team and community,

I am creating this thread to formally request a feature highly anticipated by many Sonoff iHost users: the inclusion of support for LED Strips (like the L3-5M (SN-OPL1200-L3RGB) and similar models) in the device’s Matter Bridge capability.

Currently, as confirmed in other threads, the iHost (via its firmware or the eWeLink Smart Home Add-on) can import and control these strips, but it does not expose them via Matter to platforms like Google Home, Apple Home, etc.

LED strips are a key component in smart homes for many of us, and their integration via Matter is essential to fully leverage the iHost’s capabilities as a central hub. We believe adding this compatibility would bring significant value to the product and address a real community need.

We kindly request that you considerprioritizing this feature in future updates. We would appreciate any information on whether this enhancement is planned or on the roadmap.

@jam3 Understood, maybe using the word ‘key’ was a bit strong. What I meant to convey is that, from the perspective of achieving a truly complete (100%) integration and being able to create complex automations that involve all our devices, having LED strips included via Matter is highly important. My apologies if I wasn’t perfectly clear earlier.

I use the Zemismart Light Strip Driver MATTER (ZLM-3) to control LED strips in ihost.
