Struggling to Connect iHost with NSPanel Pro 120 and HA

Hello everyone
I’m trying to get iHost to communicate with the NSPanel Pro 120, but so far with little success.

  • eWeLink CUBE Version: 2.8.1

  • NSPanel firmware: 4.0.12

My first attempt was using Paral‑Sync, but iHost simply isn’t able to detect the panel.

As a second attempt, I tried going through Home Assistant. Right now it’s running via Docker on iHost, but I’m not able to see the devices connected to iHost.

Would anyone be able to give me a hand, even just with one of these issues? Thanks in advance, and have a great evening!

For devices on version 4.x.x , you can use the eWeLink Smart Home add-on to sync devices under your NSPanel Pro to the iHost. Note that Paral‑Sync is no longer applicable after version 4.x.x .

The latest stable version of NSPanel Pro is 4.1.5 . You can upgrade to this version to experience this feature.

If you wish to try out more features in advance, you can use the beta tool to apply for the whitelist and join the beta program. The current internal beta version is 4.3.0 .

:memo: How to Apply

Follow these steps to join the Beta Test program:

  1. Visit the tool page: NSPanel Pro Beta Testing Program
  2. Log in using your eWeLink account.
  3. Select the NSPanel Pro device you wish to register.
  4. Read and accept the risk notice, then submit your application.
  5. Wait approximately 5 minutes, then go to your device’s Settings -> About -> Software Update to check for the latest firmware and install it.

I’ve already tried this solution; unfortunately, NSPanel Pro doesn’t have the capability to handle my current setup, not to mention the effort required to manage an extended network—something that iHost does very well.

Additionally, I wanted to keep everything outside of the cloud.

What a disappointment.

Could you please provide more details about this error, such as which specific devices cannot be synced? If you share more information, I can quickly determine whether it is a bug or a feature request.

So your questions are:

A. How to manage NSPanel Pro and its Zigbee devices in iHost?

If so, you could use eWeLink Smart Home add-on to export NSPanel Pro and its devices to iHost. Yes, eWeLink Smart Home add-on relies on eWeLink Cloud.

If you prefer local, you could add NSPanel Pro’s Zigbee devices to iHost through NSPanel Pro’s Matter Bridge function (eWeLink App -> NSPanel Pro -> Device Settings -> Matter Bridge).

B. How to control iHost and its devices on NSPanel Pro?

You could add iHost’s CAST page to NSPanel Pro through NSPanel Pro’s Webpages function or Webview Kiosk App (installable through F-Droid).

The problem with using NS panel is that devices keep disconnecting. If I connect everything to ihost, the connections remain stable.

Buenas tardes.

The stability of the NSPanel Pro can be affected by the network. You can provide the NSPanel Pro logs, and we will analyze whether the issue is due to unstable NSPanel Pro Wi-Fi or an abnormal connection with Zigbee devices.

By the way, what is the current version of your NSPanel Pro? In the previous beta version, we fixed the issue of unstable connections with Zigbee child devices. If you’re willing, you can also join the beta program to see if the problem is resolved.

The problem is using an SNZB-02P sensor as an external sensor for a TRVZB valve.
When using the NSPanel, it keeps disconnecting and the valve keeps opening and closing.

Thank you for the excellent advice, but unfortunately I cannot see the temperature sensors via Matter Bridge.

My goal was to use the NSPanel’s thermostat interface through iHost.

What is the version of your NSPanelPro device? You can submit the logs(Top drop-down menu → Settings → About → Feedback → Submit), and I will identify the cause as soon as possible.

I can’t get nspp working with iHost via Matter. Controlling ZG devices via nspp is out of the question because the connection to ZB keeps dropping. Out of nowhere, the nspp control changes, nspp becomes unusable due to an unstable connection, and I’m seriously considering terminating the nspp installation. I have a lot of unhappy clients.

Regarding the issue where devices synced from iHost to NSPanelPro show as offline, we have made optimizations in version 4.4.0. You can upgrade to see if it improves the situation.

I will try.

It has improved a bit but the problem persists. Do I have to reset iHost and how is it possible that SONOFF SNZB-02D cannot share the matter?
