The initial idea was to be able to know whether the gate is open or closed.
So far it has partially worked. I created a routine in Alexa to notify it that it is opening and closing.
However, I would like to know if the gate is open, as it has a sensor, I thought it would be possible to obtain the status of the sensor, but unfortunately I am not able to do this.
The idea would be to create a routine that after a while, Alexa notifies you that the gate is open.
Has anyone ever had this need or can help me with how to obtain the status of the sensor.
