Nechápem ich postup, vydajú nové zariadenie a ich vlastné zariadenia nie sú schopné nájsť novšie zariadenia. A tak čakať aj rok pokiaľ to pôjde.
Didn’t you want to make it so that adding hardware would be a matter of a few files that would be universal and go from iHost to nspp?
Yes, this is a known issue of SONOFF CAM-B1P. The default 1080p H.265 video stream is too high for NSPanel Pro. According to my knowledge, it will be fixed by SONOFF (not NSPanel Pro) in December.
I confirmed this issue with SONOFF and replied in NSPanel Pro Roadmap and Co-Created Future - #21 by MichaelLearnsToCode on October 29th.
I’ll check with SONOFF again to see the latest progress.

Hi everyone, I have confirmed with SONOFF that B1P has released a new firmware which supports 480p video stream, so we’ll support B1P in NSPanel Pro v4.2.0 firmware which is going to be released tomorrow (December 10th).
Hello
I have bought this camera few days ago and noticed strange lines on the left and bottom while making pictures (screenshots from the eWeLink app). It doesn`t matter day or night. 2k looks slightly better than 360p but still making me wonder. Only video works fine…
Have You noticed something like that? What could be the problem? Could this get worse? Should I return this camera? still have this possibility…
Software: 1.1.0 (the newest available)
2k:
360p:
I added a black background because nothing would be visible against the white one.
My camera did the exact same thing. It was a camera fault. Those lines start to grow over time; that’s what happened in my case, and I ended up replacing it.
yesterday I have noticed next 2 problems…
1: The camera is set to detect people with high sensitivity (later changed to medium and even low), yet yesterday, during the rain, alarms were triggered and I received notifications one after another.
2: There is the difference between the timeline of the played-back material and the recorded time.
Looks like material is played when nothing should be recorded (yellow lines)
When I move the cursor over the yellow line, a message appears “no video is available”
I’ve submitted a ticket, of course, but given that I usually receive replies—if I get them at all—only after weeks or months, I don’t expect any response or assistance from Sonoff or eWeLink.
Maybe one of you can help or offer some advice?
Could this be related to the camera defect I mentioned yesterday?
Hi, regarding this issue, did you submit a support ticket through the eWeLink app? If so, I’ll contact the relevant team and ask them to prioritize it.
If you submitted it through SONOFF instead, please let me know as well.
Regarding the unusual lines visible on the screen in your screenshot, please send me your email address in a private message. The relevant team will contact you as soon as possible.
yes. I reported through eWeLink app
Honestly, I don’t even know how I’d report this to Sonoff
I’ve had this camera for five days, and because of so many problems from the start, I`ve already decided to return it and buy another one…
I have another thing someone @eWeLink should look at…
At this moment sliding the marker bar with finger is really hard and problematic. The timeline is not precise and there are significant jumps.
Skipping button “forward” and “backward” to the next material recorded would be very helpful.
Yes - I updated a previus ticket through eWeLink app
I ordered, received and mounted second B1P yesterday and unfortunatelly I noticed there are lines visible when taking pictures as well.
To verify whether the issue was software or hardware related I choose not to update and stayed at software 1.0.5 (set by the factory).
@Jojkoba If the exact same thing happened to you and you swapped the camera for another one, you must have gotten lucky; it looks like—since both units I bought have the same defect—either there’s a whole batch of them out there with this issue, or I’m just incredibly unlucky.
Try using VLC Player and check via RTSP to see if the image shows the same issue.
The problem is with photos taken while reviewing the event. Video recording look fine.
You can provide me with your email address, and I’ll help contact the SONOFF team to confirm the issue. I believe you should receive a response soon.
I have exactly the same problem. Tested it on my Samsung tablet and the timeline works fine there. On my Samsung S4 FE it does the same as yours
Another day and another strange situations…
-
Have You noticed different cameras position when in sleeping mode? Why camera turns away? Everyone can see that it is not directed at the supervised area and it is immediately clear that it is not active…
-
Do You have problems with multiple notifications? My cameras are driving me crazy sending one after another and what is more anoying without any reason… I have person (human) detection with low sensivity and even though there is nothing around she is giving me a bunch of them…
I understand that notifications are supposed to come at night and wake you up, that’s what it’s all about, but only when notifications are justified, when something disturbing is happening … wright now I have to turn them off…
- Recorded sound is of very poor quality and incomprehensible unless you are standing next to it and talking directly to the camera
I`m starting to think B1P is more like a baby toy than a part of security camera system…
The most annoying thing is that no one is doing anything about it. I report these things sending tickets via eWeLink app, but all I get back are automated messages: Thank you for contacting us, we’ll take care of the matter as soon as possible… bla bla bla…
Do You have different outdoor cameras working with eWeLink? If yes please send me name, code, model etc…
Hello, there has been progress regarding the issue of inaccurate camera playback time. We will fix this problem in app version 5.28.0, which is expected to be released around August 10th.
Regarding the issue of false alarms in human detection by the camera, we have already reported it to the firmware development team and are currently investigating it. I will keep you updated as soon as there are any new developments.
Update 5.28 was not released on the expected date of August 10th, nor has it been released to this day (26th of August).
The timeline remains incorrect, camera still sends false human detection alerts and moreover it does even at night when offline ![]()
What do You think about this? ![]()
I think that for a good programmer, this is a job that shouldn’t take more than a few hours, but most likely nobody cares because they’re releasing a new camera soon.
