Socket and sonoff. Po

I have a contract where I am going to make a smart home on a large scale.

I noticed that nspanel / nspanel pro is a big problem to install in our electrical boxes if they are to be right next to the socket.

As you can see in the picture I had to cut off the light switch.

And there is a similar problem with sockets. but do you use sockets with NSPanel / pro? or do you have verified boxes for sockets and switches?

probably a noise in the translation, but I don’t understand exactly your problem. Do you mean flush-mounted boxes? I see in the picture that you are using version 120 so I assume you are not from Europe

this

Where are you from, what country? This looks like a box of 86

Nspanel pro

Nspanel120 pro

NSPanel Pro 120 is not compatible with standard European, British, or Chinese wall boxes. It fits American ones, so if you plan to install it, you’ll need to obtain a suitable box beforehand.
An alternative is to drill mounting screw holes in the metal base, but I’m not convinced it will work.

I understand you. but I’m not planning anything myself, I just responded to the thread founder, he talks about nspanel, in the first photo he has nspanel120 and next to it a standard European switch and when asked what box he means, he sent a photo of a European box designed for group boxes for multiple devices. These boxes usually cannot be used to install multiple devices next to each other. if they are separate. then the user sent me the difference between nspanel pro and nspanel120 pro.

Of course. The order got mixed up, that message wasn’t actually meant for you. Sorry about that!

Slovakia

It can’t be done. Modifying the frames is out of the question due to the screen, which obviously can’t be trimmed. Besides, I don’t really see the point of placing multiple panels side by side. With all due respect to Jojkob, I don’t think he fully considered the practicality of the idea :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

I preferred to use Czech to avoid translation errors, after all, our languages are closer than translation into English and back.

I think he didn’t want more panels but rather a panel and maybe a switch in the frame to make it look uniform. Of course the screen can’t be adjusted but I’ve seen various printed reductions.

Right. You’re probably right. That’s likely what he had in mind. Maybe he was inspired by the SONOFF SwitchMan Smart Wall Switch M5 Frame for 80 Type switches?
