SMATE as switch in alexa

Im trying to run an Alexa routine with one of my SMATE connected so Ewelink via sonoff mini R3, but I can’t find any of mine Smate in Alexa why?

At present, eWeLink haven’t support SONOFF SMATE can be controlled in the Alexa app.

The s mate currently is nothing more than a scene controller. It doesn’t do anything.

So if you want to control the light connected to the mini r3, you have to control the mini r3 instead of the s mate.

I can control the mini r3 trough google assistent, not the s mate. I don’t know if it also works with Alexa.
