Should I update to Cube 2.0 and Homebridge/Homebridge?

I am using version 1.14 of Cube and Oznu/Homebridge plugin without major issues.
Do you recommend updating to Cube 2.0 and migrating to Homebridge/Homebridge plugin?
I ask because I have read about many problems with the update (sensors, for example) and I don’t know if they have been resolved. Thanks for your comments.

I recommend switching to the Matter bridge. With the 2.1 update it is much better!

I am using Matter Bridge with Cube V1.14 and it works well. I also use the Oznu/Homebridge Docker to add all my devices (Tuya, Wiz, SmartThings, etc.) to HomeKit. The issue is that I read that with Cube 2.0, Oznu no longer works, and there are reports that the new Homebridge Docker also has problems with this version. Honestly, the Oznu Docker function is what I’ve enjoyed most about my iHost, and I don’t want to lose that functionality. I am not an expert in the subject, and configuring all the plugins in Oznu was already difficult, so I don’t want to embark on the change if it is not safe.

Well, if your question is about migrating from Oznu/Homebridge to Homebridge/Homebridge, I believe there will be no differences!

Since the Cube Plugin and the others you should use are the same plugins.

I believe you will not have any problems with this.

The problems that are reported today and before are the same ones reported at the time of Oznu/Homebridge, so you will not have any differences.

That is why I emphasize the importance of using the Homebridge plugin only for devices that are not supported via Matter.

I removed the entire (homebridge/homebridge). I installed a new clean version ( homebridge/homebridge and the homebridge-plugin-ewelink-cube plugin).
the sensors still do not change their status.

If you really worry that much, please wait for v2.2 (ETA late Aug), which should bring more optimization for the HomeBridge.

Thanks, I have already updated to 2.1 and Homebridge/Homebridge. Everything works fine except:

  • Presence sensor does not work in iHost scenes that include Ambient Light modes
  • The motion sensor does not show options in the third box under the title IF (a blank box appears), so I cannot create scenes in iHost. I have solved this by creating the scene in Alexa, but that is not ideal.
