i-HOST: New eWeLink CUBE 2.5.0 version

The new version of eWeLink CUBE 2.5.0 has appeared, but the list of differences from the previous version is missing.

It appears that a system for checking device compatibility via the web has been deployed.

This update caused more problems that it was worth
All my auto scenes no longer work (manual ones do)
I have to unsync/sync devices then recreate the auto scenes
Here goes 2 days

I want to know the changelog too. Just update now and no problems so far…

it seems no issues for me

Updated both iHost and eWelink Cube node in Node-red, but for now cannot see any difference. No issues.

Hi. Me too: at this moment NO issues for me.

Have just updated iHost to 2.5.0 and so far no apparent problems. On completion of update did need to run my “Power Up Reset” scenes so that slave devices were switched to the correct status (TRVZBs as “Masters” controlling WiFi switches as “Slaves”). Would be nice to see the change log for this version.

Golden rule:- Always do an iHost backup before updating the firmware.

eWeLink CUBE 2.5.0 update done. The ewelink smart home add-on has been updated to version 2.5.0.
No errors found yet. Initially there was a problem with the CAST page, but clearing the chrome browser solved the problem.

  • I see that in the new version the charts for TH16 have been fixed.
  • The chart for POWR320D has also been fixed.
  • Fixed a bug reading lux values for the Aqara Light Sensor T1 GZCGQ11LM [ lumi.sen_ill.agl01 (GZCGQ11LM) ]. The sensor now reports lux values correctly.

In IHOST CAST The graph for the light intensity sensor has the wrong unit.

If I’m not mistaken. in addition eWeLink Smart Home v2.5.0. after logging out you can still control devices in LAN mode. Can you confirm this?

Yes, sorry. The units still appear incorrect

i havent test that yet , but at cubeos the v2.5.0 break the addon and requires newer version which is not yet released

It is already released. Go to info and press “Check for updates”

not yet , im talking about cubeos

Ok, I read it wrong. You’re right.
