So I observe the following phenomenon with SNZB-05P which after some time goes offline. Time is plus or minus about 48-72H and suddenly the sensor in ewelink is shown as offline.
As long as it is online everything works properly. It is connected to ZB Bridge-P which is 2.3.0 and it works ok all the time.
And now the question is what to do about it? The sensor stops being active, so it might as well not be there at all.
Is it the fault of the sensor or the fault of the bridge and the last update to 2.3.0?
Or is it some strange battery saving mode implemented in the sensor? But that is not it because after removing the sensor and pouring water into it it remains offline.
The only thing that wakes it up is pressing the pairing button. The sensor is new and the battery is new that was with the sensor.
What is happening? Did I buy a faulty sensor again or is it a problem on the Sonoff side?
And what is your SNZB-05P software version? My version is (1.0.2). I have two sensors and I have no problem with them. One is added to Samsung SmartThings Station and the other was added to ihost.
My sensors are 2 meters away from the gateway.
Maybe for a test, put the sensor next to the ZIGBEE gateway and see if it helps.
Mine is also 1.0.2… Some had some problems after the last bridge update to 2.3.0, maybe this is the fault since your sensors work but you are not using this bridge.
Currently, following one of the tips in another thread, I added the sensor again… I don’t know what exactly this would change but maybe some bug on the ewelink side. Time will tell, although I don’t have much hope for it, of course it deleted all the scenes that had the sensor.
I have not had much luck with Sonoff sensors lately… First DW2, now 05P.
